Personally I vote that Takeshi should use Night Fury on the Gossamer Fish.

Takeshi quickly attacks the Gossamer Fish, hitting it for a total of 151 with all his attacks from Night Fury. The Spouto also takes 2 damage from last round.

Hawkeye's next, and with his powered up weapon, he goes for the Spouto, dealing a good 115 damage to it with his Hellcharged attack.

The Spouto retaliates and smacks Hawkeye in the face for 20 damage!

The Gossamer Fish uses its curse attack again, this time focusing on Tern. Oh dear!

Tern fires off a good missile onto the Gossamer Fish, critting for 55 damage, but that's it.

The Octoring continues to attack Gill, hitting him for 22 damage.

Entgegen throws another pill, smacking the Gossamer Fish for an additional 31 damage. It's looking low!

So far every fight with a Gossamer Fish in it has resulted in someone dying, those things much be dangerous. But keep in mind that enemies have SP too- if you can figure out the SP costs of their attacks, you may learn that they run out of SP very fast. This is a hint. *Wink wink*

And Takeshi's Mirror Image takes up a whole turn, so using it at the start of the battle will enhance its effectiveness due to it lasting for longer and whatnot. Ninjas have lots of damage but high costs.

The Spouto moves immediately after, blasting Entgegen in the face with a waterball. Grrrr. It does 22 damage and halves his Magic Defense.

Gill BEATDOWNS the poor Spouto, hitting 55, 35, 30, for a total of 120. Good damage. He also activates his weapon to regain 5 SP.

Entgegen CRITICALLY HEALS Gill for 28. That should keep him on his feet.

The Octoring tries to attack, only hitting 1 on Takeshi and 12 on Gill.

Tern's Fire Missile is redirected to the next best target, the Spouto. It does 29 damage. He also activates his wand, gaining 10 SP!

Takeshi BLASTS OFF and crits the Octoring in the face for a 36. He then stabs it with his dagger for a 17. That's 53 total.

Mr. Spouto doesn't like Entgegen, and Water Balls him again for 25 damage. Entgegen's magic defense is still halved!

Gill runs away back to Tern.

Entgegen doesn't like the Spouto either! He uses Osmose on it, hitting a 17 and draining 4 SP. That... should PROBABLY help.

Tern has had enough of this, and ERADICATES the Octoring with a 95 damage Thunderbolt- That's the HIGHEST POSSIBLE DAMAGE Tern could've done to the Octoring, I'm pretty sure!

The Octoring, despite being zapped, LIVES. And he goes and whacks his appendages into Entgegen's unsuspecting face for 11 damage.

ONOES! Stunned. And Poisoned. Darn, looks like Entgegen won't be able to run the fuck away! AND THAT'S NOT GOOD!

The Spouto is healed for 50 and the Octoring for 56. But that shouldn't matter since the heal has worn off. Let's just hope the Spouto doesn't cast it or better yet CAN'T cast it.
