Zodiac times get a little wonky depending on where you are and which one you go by. If we go strictly by constellation boundaries, April is Feferi and Aradia month.

It's not aries right now, it's still pisces. The astrological sign changes happen in the middle of months. sotheresyouranswer

Unless we're using the 13-sign system, it ought to be Aradia/Tavros month.
There's two different zodiac date systems: the one for astrology and the one for astronomy. The astrology deals with divination, the astronomy deals with the constellations themselves. If we're going by astrology, yeah, it's Aradia/Tavros month. If we're going by astronomy, it is actually Feferi/Aradia month.
Not that it really matters, because PEOPLE SHOULD POST ALL TROLLS AND KIDS CROSSDRESSED IN HERE ANYWAYS. Don't focus just on those three. Please. I want derpy frilly John.
Re: APRIL APOCALYPSE: ARADIA IS AWESOME IN ARMOR [Crossdressing thread]
I should not be this addicted to the forum. I was dying to post this all day while it was down.
The Strider-Lalonde family are the worst, most anachronistic nobles ever.
Small Favor
Aradia Megido - the lowblood, the Red, the victorious - approached the nobles' box seat. She could feel trepidation rising to mix with the pride in her swelled chest as the blonde noblewoman in all her finery rose from her seat. She looked down at Aradia, who bowed. The crowd gave a cheer, and Aradia felt more than saw the bested Serket in her heavy spiked armor - in the end, as much her downfall as her overconfidence - glowering at her from across the field.
At the woman's side were her two children, both Aradia's age, each with hair as golden as the sun. The girl regarded her momentarily, critical lavender eyes flicking up and down Aradia's mud-caked form, before she turned to a servant behind her - a troll with a kinked horn - and whispered something with a vague smile. The boy stared at her with an unreadable expression, his eyes hidden behind dark, round lenses. At a nudge from his sister - he shot her a look, though Aradia wasn't sure what kind - he reached his fingers into his dress sleeve, then flicked something over the box railing.
Aradia saw the flutter of a small square of cloth, and reached for it instinctively. It slipped through her fingers and landed in the dirt. The lowblood bent to pick it up, and thought she heard the girl and her servant giggling. Aradia realized she must have looked ridiculous in her bulky armor, tabard dragging through the mud, trying to grab such a small favor before the earth soiled it. When she raised her eyes, she saw all four of them looking at her with a sort of predatorial expectation, and suddenly she felt ridiculous.
Aradia got to her feet slowly, kerchief in hand. It was small and white and smelled vaguely of perfume, with a small D embroidered lovingly in one corner. She lifted it slowly to offer it back to the boy.
"What do you know," said the girl suddenly to her maid, the quirk in her lips clearly amused. Aradia had the feeling the bemusement was not just for her brother, but for Aradia as well. "You were right. Chivalry isn't dead."
"Fuck you, Rose," replied the boy, casually, arms crossed over his gold-trimmed bodice. "Its goddamned swan song is a four hour choreographed musical number. Chekov's gun waiting in the foyer for act seven to blow off chivalry's fucking head so everybody can go home."
Rose looked directly at her brother, her face alive with a terrible glee. "Tell me you'll write a sonnet about this. Tell me. Because if you don't, I will."
"Go to Hell."
Undeterred by his vulgarity, the girl began to compose, "A whiteness graced upon a metal hand/ Offered so gentle to her light above/ Flushed words spoken twixt noble boy with land/ And knightly girl possessed of only love--"
"Okay Shakespeare, thank you. I get it," he growled, his spectacles no longer enough to mask the frustration in his face. "You can stop now."
"Just take the favor, David."
David turned his gaze to Aradia finally, though she couldn't meet it, instead greeted by her reflection in his lenses, as solemn and dignified as she could manage. He studied her for a long moment, and Aradia tried not to let her tired arm shake. His pause lasted the longest moment she could imagine, before he finally gave a nod, like a blessing. "Keep it."
And then the forum was down, so I finished the sonnet:
A whiteness graced upon a metal hand
Offered so gentle to her light above
Flushed words spoken twixt noble boy with land
And knightly girl possessed of only love.
To landed noble boy daydreams bestow
His noble purity to dispossess
By his motion of a hot gaze held low
And in his longing for her warm caress.
Thick armor is cast down on both their sides
A good chivalrous knight lays down her sword
He beckons to her with amorous eyes
And in one such night she becomes his Lord.
Just take the fucking favor, brother dear
Or I swear to God, of this John will hear.
(I can't believe this took all night/What the fuck did I just write.)
The fact that any of this exists is now my April Fools joke.
Re: APRIL APOCALYPSE: ARADIA IS AWESOME IN ARMOR [Crossdressing thread]
It's good to see so many people watching this thread already!
I'm not really familiar with the European zodiac, but I am with the stars, so I went with the astrological timing instead, and I went for the dates that fitted Aquarius into March the best, as March was Eridan's month. But all are welcome! Please don't feel obliged to limit yourself due to the thread title, invalidgriffin has already nailed it (although you can never have too much of an armored Aradia). Speaking of which!
My internets absconded on me some time yesterday, and the last I heard was on the MM thread saying that there shouldn't be an April thread, so you can imagine my joy at coming back online to find all this art!

I'm so sorry.
So, so sorry.
DO NOT BE SORRY! This is so awesome, for the drawings I especially love the embroidery on Dave's back , and Tavros with his hair down, and the detailing on Aradia's armor (squee you proved the thread title beyond a doubt!). I love in the fic how 'David' wearing a dress is totally normal (you know he'd be rocking it in an ironic matter), and Rose being all snarky, and the sonnet is just so hilariously awesome and perfectly in Rose's style. Woo I really got wordy on the complements there. It deserved more.

You should be. Quit being awesome this instant =P
and by that I mean don't apologise, all of that is absolutely brilliant and I am envious. XD

Your trolltag is catastrophicGenesis. You have very few typing quirks, although you sort of overuse punctuation and can sound kind of a bit hesitant to commit to any absolutes. You really quite like drawing and writing. You also enjoy sprite manipulations, and don't mind requests in that direction.
You have made fantrolls. Currently, you are not providing very much to [S] Rex Duodecim Angelus, but you think it would be awesome if more people did.

Pretty sure Kanaya makes his dresses and he started wearing them when he and Rose got into some kind of terrible, passive-aggressive one-up showdown x5. My brain is reeling just considering what would happen if Bro, Mom, Rose and Dave all lived in the same medieval house. It is the most ridiculous and convoluted twelve-horse-carriage wreck ever.
Also, is the April thread going to stick around? Yes/no/I should start crossposting and begging forgiveness in the MM thread

Hey guys, I kinda have a request if anyone's up for it, and I figure this might be the best place to ask. Anyone feel like drawing female Karkat for me? I sorta play her on LJ a bit, but I would really like some new icons for her that aren't terrible manipulations.
I... don't really have anything to offer in return, other than more terrible sprite manips and my undying devotion. =/

Re: APRIL APOCALYPSE: ARADIA IS AWESOME IN ARMOR [Crossdressing thread]
...But what if the female Karkat is in male-specific clothing? I think that would be allowed.
Currently I have Whostuck, a, uh, non-postable picture of Karkat, a crossdressing Dave and John pic and my Easter exchange gift to be working on, so I'm pretty full up. If you still want one after I've cleared the list a little, I'll be happy to draw some for you. Also if your avatar is any indication, they are pretty awesome manips.
Also, this thread will stay up unless I am told to take it down by a mod -which they won't do as long as we all follow the rules. So keep it legal, and keep it coming!

It's fullblown chillipeppers right now, but I'm going to add pants I swear. So then it'll be kinda simmering. I'm not going to post it here.
In totally unrelated news, my livejournal is strawberry_smut.
Re: APRIL APOCALYPSE: ARADIA IS AWESOME IN ARMOR [Crossdressing thread]
audience_cat: I'm okay with waiting! =3 And, uh, thanks both for the offer of pictures and the comforting lie about my spriting.
invalidgriffin: You have no idea how happy that makes me. XD The angry face is pretty awesome, but the confused face is even better. =D
