Oh jegus, click that button at the bottom of your post that says "Edit Post" then press "Go Advanced". When that comes up use your mouse to select the IMG tags and all of the text between them and then press the button at the very end of the bar with the buttons that add bold and italic tags and stuff. Please do so before you crash everyone's computers.

EDIT: Also, on the subject of wings (which they did have), I'm working on them for the king. I just figured it would be easier to place them behind the transparent image than to try and draw them in between the tentacles because they'd end up horribly disjointed.

The troll poses are kind of a long story, but the short of it is that the Red Team was done and Differential isn't in a position to finish the Blue Team, so polarBaroness offered to pick the whole thing up. The difference in art style means that if you'd want to try your hand at it too, it'd probably be ideal for you to do it from scratch instead of just the Blue Team.

You're free to try your hand at other stuff too. Right now stuff from the first minute or so of the storyboard in the Op is in demand, but we're still in need of art assets for every part of the song, so you've got options.

Also I need to update the OP's art assets. :X

Yeah, feel free. It'd be nice to have some choices for what's going to be a pretty big part in setting up the opening.

Mostly the issue with multiple people doing the same scene is bottlenecking progress because only one scene gets done at a time. So it should be cool for more than one person to try their hand at the trolls posing as long as it doesn't become a "thing."

If that's clear, I guess.

Well the only other thing I'm working on is wings, which I'll get out of the way first anyhow, so I am effectively immune to the bottlenecking.

Okay well I can work on just about anything you'd want done? I'll try my hand at the full team, but there's a few other things I'd like to try. (Oh and Vriska is or is NOT supposed to be God Tier for this? o__o)

Also this part sounds like a few images I can put together:

2:33 - 2:55 (153-175s)- Black King reels backward. Crabclaw cuts trolls' platform lily pad in half. The Trolls are forced to jump to different lily pads. Terezi could be helping a still-disoriented Karkat. Maybe Vriska fluttering with god tier wings. Equius might be strongjumping with Nepeta in tow. Tavros could have the spaced-out Gamzee as a passenger. Kings' remaining eyes might also be firing red-blue beams ala Sollux, forcing the trolls to dodge those too. Everybody reaches new lily pads safely.

Just throw much needed parts at me. Me and backgrounds aren't particularly friendly, and I'm subpar at most with animation but I'm still trying my hand at it. Anyway, glad to be a prt of the project and I hope you'll like the sketches I have coming up!

maybe andrew did it like that on purpose to keep the fact she was god tier a surprise for later.

Yeah, we've been over this in Simple Questions. Vriska was God Tier at the Black King battle, the outfit was removable and the wings were retractable.

Hate to cause anyone distress, and I'm surely not suggesting that existing scrolling panel of the Dersites landing needs another recolouring, but I thought I'd just drop my 2 cents here, you know.

By the way, I'd think the non-Agent Dersites would have slightly darker gray outfits than the Prospitians we see here, anyway.

I still have no idea if vriska is supposed to have her whole sleeve or not, but here's what I got! (ARGH Tavros' chair is gonna be the death of me.)

Anyway I'm gonna put a pause on this and do some of the stuff that hasn't been worked on yet, but I just wanted to get a general consensus on whether or not this is the style I should be trying to work with!

OH! And to explain the Gamzee eating pie: There was a discarded half-eaten slime pie mentioned earlier in the thread. I figured it had to come from somewhere. :|a Y/N on this?

SHIT JUST GOT REAL.

I just couldn't resist seeing how the pawns all resemble characters from PS and I needed to draw them amassing, ready for a fight.
The Dersites are looking like this. I am not editing any more, except changing the badges the ones on the pan wear slightly. I'm only drawing them because nobody else will. If somebody else wants to draw them because they cannot bear my audacious lack of adherence to the precise canon shade of grey, please do.

I still have no idea if vriska is supposed to have her whole sleeve or not, but here's what I got!

I'm afraid to say all evidence points to Vriska's sleeve being lost at this point. She regains her arm on reaching God Tier, but it seems she doesn't repair her old outfit before putting it back on. The sleeve is missing when she's in the Veil, so I assume she never repaired that sleeve. Hope editing the arm isn't too big a hassle! At least the arm is out to the side, so should be relatively easy to edit.
