You immediately inform your Zaplant that his name is Ichigo. He seems to be okay with this. Meanwhile, over there, Jim has informed his Puppeau that his name is Dave.



Dave used Growl! Ichigo's attack fell.



Ichigo used Charge! His SpDef increased, and Electrical Power has been doubled!



Ichigo is using Spark Stick!!!



Ichigo strikes Dave with his stick, sending Dave backwards in a blast of lightning.
Wait, that's it?! You were expecting more damage to dealt...


Hold on, something is happening... Dave seems to be absorbing the lightning??

Uh oh. That took out over half of our health! Better have Ichigo use Mega Drai-



Dave used Jet Tackle again! Ichigo fainted! (And Dave leveled up!)

Interlude of Silliness: Alternate Ending
WHAT. You lost!?!? "What on earth just happened?? How did I lose?" You say.

"Well, you see..." Jim says, while putting on a pair of sunglasses.

I'm guessing that you want to heal it, but the only healing station in this prison complex is all the way on the other side of the building. This prison complex is actually rather dangerous, so, you better take another pokemon with you."

He brings you back to your table. He also says that you can take one of the pokemon from Jim's table, if you want.

Jet Tackle is just a stronger, flying-type version of tackle, but Puppeau moved twice in a row for the same reason that we did in the beginning of the fight. The speeds were the same, so just like in the games, whoever goes first in a round is randomly decided

EDIT: also to the 4.5X boost thing, it DID only halve the damage (though I think it also made his attack stronger so...). also I think that puppeau should have horrible sp.defence and sp.attack. he should also get pretty much only special moves through level up. hard to be over-powered when your move pool is horribad

I've changed Puppeau's ability so it is no longer overpowered! The first time you hit Puppeau with an electric type attack, the same thing happens as usual (electricity is absorbed to boost stats). However, if you hit Puppeau with an electric type attack a second time, the ability will not activate and the move will be 4x effective, like it normally would be.

This means that I don't have to retcon in the change, because this new ability still fits in with the battle we just had, and I don't have to give Puppeau a crummy moveset!

You send out a Conflapin! It is a pure Fire-type pokemon. Your pokedex informs you that it is constantly burning on the inside, which explains the smoke coming out of its rear.
...That sounds painful, but it doesn't seem to be hurting the bunny at all. That's good. Also, those eyes are strange...

PRISON COMPLEX DUNGEON
You enter the prison complex. Pokemon battles don't usually happen here in the prison complex, since none of the prisoners or guards have pokemon. So, the only Healing Machine was stuck all the way in the basement, in the storage room. However, there are some wild pokemon roaming around down here. For this reason, you were given 5 pokeballs in case you wanted to catch any. The guard explicitly warned you that whatever you do, DO NOT give any of the prisoners pokeballs.

Floor 1: Security Bridge


Your first obstacle is the security bridge. It keeps prisoners inside the dungeon. Unfortunately, it keeps you out.

Above the gap, there is a big thing that turns around. One side has the bridge that you need to cross, and the other side has a counterweight, in order to keep it balanced. A big 4000kg weight is attached to the bridge side. Also attached to the bridge side is a pulley. At the end of the rope is 1000kg weight.
This thing is perfectly balanced. You'll have to find some way to upset this balance in order to rotate the bridge so that it crosses the gap.

Next to you is a fuse. It leads to a box of explosives attached to the wall next to the 1000 kg weight.
Near the gap is an enormous pile of coiled rope ladder.
Under the 100kg weight is a big red button. You wonder what it does.

What a ridiculous and unnecessarily complex security system! Who the heck designed it?! Some teenager with too much time on his hands?!

How shall you deal with this obstacle? Also, enter a nickname for your Conflapin.

Conflapin is a pun on 'conflagration' and 'lapin' (I don't feel like that's obvious enough...)
I'm pretty sure the rotary-bridge thing is balanced correctly. I might be wrong though, I made at least two mistakes before the forces balanced properly...

No, we're still Susan. Jim is elsewhere, doing rival things.

Flarebunny attempts to use Burning Glare on the hook holding the 4000 kg weight. It doesn't burn because it made out of metal and Flarebunny is not powerful enough to melt metal!
He also attempts to use it on the rope holding the 1000 kg weight! It appears that the rope is made out of Fire-Proof String. You'll have to find some other way to cut it, if that is what you want to do.
