I hereby acknowledge that any of the preceeding words might possibly be nonsensical, insane, illogical, or just plain weird.

Because it was a part of your childhood.

Speaking of which, don't you ever make the mistake I did and watch reruns of the first and second seasons on Boomerang. My childhood is ruined now that I know how awful that show really was. T_T

However, if you do that, and then watch a couple episodes of Sinnoh or Black and White, you will appreciate the old episodes all over again. Trust me.

[offtopic]I've always liked the first seasons and I actually like the Sinnoh season much more.

    Re: Pokéstuck

To be fair, I haven't seen all that much of Sinnoh - I stopped watching regularly when the VAs changed back in Hoenn. But I got a free DVD with the first couple B&W episodes, because who was I to turn down free Pokemon stuff? (I honestly have no idea why I got the DVD. It came in the mail). But it made my eyes bleed. Maybe there will be something redeeming to occur later. There might be, who knows? I don't think I'm willing to watch enough to find out, however. Maybe that's my loss. But I'm going to stick to the games, and rewatch early episodes for nostalgic and crazy value.

    >Vriska: Who needs money? You're the all powerful head of Team Rocket - I mean, a perfectly normal troll. I'm sure you can reach an "agreement" with Mr. Slick.
    >John: Hey, look! A convenient distraction!
    >Vriska: Here's your Magikarp John!

Paul is one of the big reasons I like Sinnoh so much. But I mainly think the sub-plots are far better. My biggest reason for liking Sinnoh so much is because that there are more serious fights with how Ash is a much better trainer, also the strategies that he makes during the battles.

Although, probably the biggest thing I have against Sinnoh is that I have an irrational hatred of Dawn/Hikari. I have no idea why. It's irrational. Try as I might, I can't get over it to watch more of the Sinnoh season. But that's my own fault - not the show's.

Since we're having a discussion about the later seasons, I just wanted to toss the following out there...

Brock's replacement in B/W is horrific in my opinion. Cilan or whatever his name is, I hate him so much. Brock was so much better.

And I don't hate Dawn exactly, but she's not exactly my favorite character. :/

The most fun thing about Dawn is pausing the show at random intervals to see who is looking up her skirt this time.

For some strange reason, that does not endear me to her...

JOHN: Beg VRISKA for the money

You do that in the best way you know how. You make your eyes as big as they will go and look as adorable as humanly possible. You've been told numerous times that you look ridiculous when you do this, but it is effective. People usually give you whatever you want just so you'll stop making that face. It's fantastic.

It does your PRANKSTER'S GAMBIT well to pull this face every now and then.

    vriiiiiiiiska
John, what on earth happened to you?
    nothing! it's just
i have no money left because my backpack got stolen
and there's a really rare pokemon over there that i want to buy
    but i can't!

    ........
You doooooooo realize that's a Magikarp, right?

well ok it's not rare, but i still want it!
can you please lend me some money?
    pleeeeeeeeease?

You already owe me for ruining my 8rilliant disguise.
    pleeeeeeeeease?
Will you stop making that dum8 face?
    probably!
    Fine. Take the money.

    VRISKA: Give him the money

    yaaaaaaaay!
8y the way, I'm charging you an hourly 80% interest.

JOHN does not appear to be listening to you. You've never seen a boy so happy to purchase a MAGIKARP before. Then again, you've never met a boy quite like JOHN EGBERT, either.

You have yet to determine whether or not you mean that as a compliment or an insult.

    VRISKA: Find something to do

You don't have to look very far. A MYSTERIOUS FIGURE has just barged into the POKéCENTER, and it seems to be a very FAMILIAR MYSTERIOUS FIGURE at that. If nothing else, this should be a good distraction while John goes and haggles for his dumb fish. So how to go about this?

Judging by the body shape, the only possible person it can be is either Bigfoot or The Juggernaut.
