So this is a game I used to play over at Very Serious, which is the forum for people who follow the blog Hyperbole and a Half. This is the thread over there that explains what it is and also has examples, but I'll also explain what the game is in this thread, too, for those of you who are too lazy to follow links. Examples from our rounds are linked at the bottom of this post.
What is this game about?
How do you play?
What if I don't want to draw/draw really bad?
How do I join?
Why is it called, "Eat Poop, You Cat?"?!

What is this game about?
This game is basically a version of Telephone, that game where everyone sits in a circle and you pass a phrase around and even though you start with someone like, "Jerry and Diane eat ice cream," you end up with something like, "Harry's diamonds are a dream," only instead of relying on bad hearing we rely on inexact drawing and captioning skills! Also we will have much more interesting subjects.
How do you play?
You get a group of people - more than four but less than so many I can't handle it, I guess - and assign them numbers. The first person, usually the GM, comes up with a caption or a picture and sends it to the second person. Let's say it was a picture. The second person captions that picture, and sends it on to the third person, who draws a picture from that caption. You continue in that manner until you run out of people on the list, then the whole thing is posted! The person running the game has to go first because when a player PMs their caption to the next player, they also PM it to the person running the game. That way, when the game is done, the person running it has everything they need to post the game as soon as it's finished.
In this thread, for the current round, we'll be running two games: one starting at the top with me, and one at the bottom with Gjarble. We can decide the runners of the next game while the first round is going; I don't always have to be one of them and in fact would prefer not to be.
What if I don't want to draw/draw really bad?
First, this game is in some parts about speed, so even people who draw really well shouldn't put a whole lot of effort into drawing if it will take them very long. Second, part of this game is about miscommunication, so if you often try to draw a dog but it ends up looking like a dragon, that just makes the game better.
I would really encourage everyone to try and draw! Even if you can basically only do stick figures or only have a trackpad. If, however, you really just can't do it, then when you sign up you can note that you only want to do captions and I'll place you on the list accordingly.
How do I join?
Just post saying that you'd like to be in on the next round! We might also have a permalist - that is, people who want to be included in every round - but you have to play one round before I can add you to the permalist.
Why is it called, "Eat Poop, You Cat?"?!
That's pretty much a mystery. The folks over at Very Serious assume that that was the end caption for a game at some point, and since I learned to play it at Very Serious, that how I think of it in my head - the EPYC game. We could rename it, but mostly I just that that having, "Eat Poop, You Cat," would get people into the thread. (Did it work?)
Current Round List/Tracker
Games are run by the first player listed: Me for red, Gjarble for blue, curiousCat for green, and fivexthethird for purple. You MUST CC your caption or picture to the leader of each game.
(PLAYERS should post in the thread when they pass their caption or drawing around so that I may adjust the tracker! They should also note WHICH GAME their caption or picture is for when they pass it along to the next person in line AND when they post in the thread AND when they CC their caption/picture to the leader of the game..)

Permalist
Being on the permalist means that you are automatically included in each round, so you don't have to always be saying, "I want to play the next round, too". :] No one is on the permalist automatically, but if you've played at least one game then you can get on it by asking. To be taken off the permalist, you also just have to ask.
