Can I request a theme song? Preferably something that sounds alien and quite.

What's a good size for album art? I'm thinking something along the lines of 500x500 but I don't know.

Tindeck resizes it to 90x90, so as long as it's square it should work. The image I'm using is 668x668 which, in addition to being an odd number, means it has a lot of sweet details that are totally lost when it gets shrunk.

If I had a good, free program to use to make music, I'd totally help out here
I am pretty good at composing tunes in my head, but I have little skill with the dexterity required to physically play an instrument, and I can't find any freeware out there :/
So yeah, just popping in to say Traikan is a pretty cool guy and this is an awesome thread

I've heard good things about LMMS which despite being called Linux MultiMedia Studio works on Windows.

There's also PXTone which is kind of weird but also awesome.

I can't offer any advice with either of those programs, but the internet is a cool place and, more locally, I know orngjce223 uses LMMS.

Varkarrus/MiE2011's theme is finished! It's a bit shorter than Zaven's, and I'll probably stick to 2-3 minutes with these just to keep up a brisk pace.

I guess I'm just drunk and curious about the process.

I haven't really done anything yet but for my part, I'm going to pull up a bunch of Disgaea/Kirby/Earthbound/Zelda/racing game/whatever else I can pull out of a hat songs, and listening to them for a while.
Then I will go to bed and dream of pumpkins.

Hey, I'll tentatively throw my name in there at the bottom of the list just in case you get around to it. If not, no worries!

I'd like some kinda chill, yet upbeat, partygoing theme thing if possible. Maybe some sort of rap-rock-some pop thing with lots of guitar. Whatever you see fit, just look at my avatar for inspiration.

The current themes right now are great, keep up the good work!

EDIT: Look no further than typical Chazz for inspiration. or for fun because this video is hilarious.

Chazz mentions Cartel and Switchfoot, just in case you need more ideas.
And if you do look at it for inspiration, you don't have to make the vibe douchey and arrogant, just upbeat with guitar and all that jazz.
