Casting Fan VAs for Ongoing Group Projects

INTRODUCTION:
The project isn't something as grand as a radio play, or, hell, anything specific. I'm simply organizing a group of fan voice actors to interact with and work on skits/songs/readings/whathaveyou together.

I am looking for voice actors for the following roles: Aradia, Tavros, Sollux, Kanaya, Terezi, Vriska, Feferi, John, Dave, Rose, Jade. Below are the things I am looking for in these characters, and I will be casting according to it. Sound quality will also be a big factor, so keep that in mind! I would suggest studying the characters you wish to try out for to gauge what their mannerisms tend to be. Please express a character's personality with your voice. It is also entirely possible at the announcement of casting that I may choose not to cast a role if I feel none of the auditions are up to par.

HOW TO AUDITION:
Please submit a tindeck link in this thread of you voicing one character per link submitted, you can submit as many auditions as you want. The recording should be one minute or less. Please do your best to put your best foot forward. Small amounts of audio editing is allowed (background noise removal, for example), but heavy audio editing (auto-tune, speed changes, tempo changes, “troll filters”, etc...) will result in your audition to be disregarded. Do not use music or sound effects in your auditions or they will be disregarded. Please link the page(s) in which the dialogue is from. The last day you can submit anything is June 19th, any auditions posted after 11:59 PM on June 19th will be disregarded.

WHAT I'M LOOKING FOR:
All Characters – should sound like they can be thought of as 13. In the case of trolls there will be a bit more leniency because they are aliens. Must be able to do a wide array of emotions. Nothing bugs me more than people who can only do a character in one tone or manner of speaking. American Accents.

Troll Tips – If you're having a hard time figuring out what kind of emotion a troll is depicting, play the walk-abouts set in the veil. These give a pretty decent starting notion about each of the character's speaking habits. Typing quirks are also arbitrary, do not try to incorporate, for example double i's, zeros, eights, or any other numbers into your speech.

Aradia – Able to do alive, dead, and robotic Aradia. Each has a distinct way of speaking, be sure to take that into account. Alive/Young Aradia is friendly and adventurous. Dead Aradia isn't emotionless, just suppressed. Imagine her as being defeated by her seemingly inescapable role as a pawn of the spirits of the dead. She should sound depressed and slightly disconnected, but do not confuse this with subdued anger. Robo Aradia is similar to Dead Aradia, but has rediscovered passion, leading her to be more expressive in anger, hate, and pity.

Tavros – Should make his verbal stutters believable, don't just interject an “Ummm” into a sentence that was otherwise flowing rather well. Tavros isn't timid all the time either, he is more than a wimp.

Sollux – Able to lisp correctly (IMPORTANT!!!!!). Able to sound depressed, angry, motivated, and confidant, depending on what the line/scene calls for.

Kanaya – Not British. Able to be snarky and snooty. Very clear and precise, but don't over-enunciate each and every word.

Terezi – Terezi, deep down, is a cold and calculating individual. While she does get hyper and excited over combat and courtblock drama, she has the mindset of a serial killer. Be able to present both sides of her personality.

Vriska – Her tone should be slightly dramatic. Vriska puts up a front of arrogance, but deep down is insecure, leading her to be sort of a bitch. Please keep this in mind when preforming.

Feferi – The most human, and thus, least latently sinister of the trolls (keep that in mind). Very optimistic and lighthearted, very similar to Jade. Please be able to display a healthy range of emotion, and practice “glubbing” so it doesn't sound artificial and forced. Glubbing is less important that other delivery however.

John – Not just derp all the time, please. Sure he's not the sharpest kid, but he's not dumb, only forgetful and able to be caught up in the moment.

Dave – Please keep in mind that he should be able to be passed off as 13. Snarky and sarcastic most of the time, obviously, but should be presented deadpan. Please submit lines that include him not being a humorous ass as well so I can get a good context of your range.

Rose – A lot like Kanaya, but with more sarcasm. Snarky, snooty, talks down to the trolls, but not the humans. Wordy and eloquent. Always confidant in her views.

Jade – Able to display more emotions than happy. Keep in mind the basic guidelines as well.

I...am highly tempted to audition for Sollux. Though I'm curious about one thing. Do you mean anything particularly specific by "American Accents"? I myself am Canadian, and though I don't think we really have all that much of a different 'accent', if any at all, I'm wondering if it would still apply.
