No here's how it works, unjust murders of a highblood, and in some cases, mindless massacre of the lowbloods, anything that would label you a particularly dangerous troll, would make you a criminal.

...But the thing is, there is no law. We see drones who cull because a troll is crippled or unable to fill buckets, but there's never any mention of an organized authority figure that dispenses justice. Vriska killed thousands- we can assume seadwellers were in the fatalities too- and did anyone come to punish her? Nope. It was Aradia and Terezi who took her down, and they literally only did it to get revenge for themselves.

Extrapolating on this, we can assume that all legislacerators and other types of law enforcers are strictly operating in space, for the adult trolls. Alternia is very much a survival of the fittest scenario- "if you need the cops to come help you, you're too weak to survive anyway" type deal.

If your troll is being pursued, just write it off as them being pursued by their murder victim's moirail or matesprit or friends or what have you. Makes things much simpler. B)

I don't think we can just go 'assuming' laws if canon never even mentioned them. All in all, the way troll society works, a murderous psychopath would probably be seen as a BETTER troll, for being strong enough to kill all those trolls.

Alternia has been left not as a 'planet for young trolls to live', but as 'testing grounds'. Since the day they are born to whatever day the gov. comes over to snatch them over to space, they are tested, to see if they can survive, fight, breed. If the adult trolls cared that much about trolls dying, you would probably have seen Vriska arrested, not lazying around in a castle.

Also, as pointed a few pages ago, you don't need to have a 2XHAMMERKIND to dual wield hammers, or any kind of weapon at all..... unless the weapon is a handle with two hammers on it or something

I don't think it matters if it's double sided either. You can probably have two blades on one handle with it still being bladekind.

I think Chasewithlasers would be right, seeing as 2x3dentKind is completely separate from the theoretical 1x3dentKind. It would be 2x1hammerKind, if I'm correct.

Also, I'm pretty sure 2xbladeKind or whatever is only for wielding two swords at once. You can't wield one with it, or three with it. It's supposed to make it a bit more challenging to the user or something, limit their number of multi-wielding. Or at least that's what I think.

Just remembered Feferi's specibus, but the second part is incorrect. John can wield two hammers, or actually 4 if you count the ghost gloves as actually wielding, without any 2xhammerkind. A bladekind user could probably do the same.

Of course, if a character has three swords and three empty Specibi, only knows how to use swords, and doesn't want to allocate anything stupid on accident, they could set up 1x-, 2x-, and 3xbladeKind so they don't have any spares. I dunno why someone'd do that. Probably because they got lazy and didn't want to learn to use other weapons.

Feferi's 2x3dent kind is referring to DOUBLE SIDED tridents. It is not referring to dual wielded tridents.

Er, yes I know. 2x3dentKind was in response to a previous post about how a hammer with one head would have the same Specibus as a hammer with heads on both ends.

What I'm talking about here is 1x, 2x, 3x, etc. NOT 1x3, 1x2, 2x1, 2x3, etc. 2x refers to 2 separate weapons. 2x1 would refer to a weapon with one attack thing on each side. So 2x1hammerKind would basically be a hammer with a head on each end. 2xhammerKind would be 2 separate hammers.

The #xtypeKind is for multiple weapons, #x#typeKind would be for weapons with multiple heads on one side, or heads on opposite sides of the handle/whatever. 2x1hammerKind would be two-by-one-hammer-Kind. 2xhammerKind would be two-times-hammer-Kind.

The fact that there are two numbers used, one before and one after the "x", means multi-headed/bladed/pronged/whatever'd weapon. Using one number, before the "x" implies two separate weapons.

EDIT: Wow, I repeated myself a lot here. Sorry 'bout that.

EDIT AGAIN: Also, another topic, just with my personal opinion because I'm pretty sure this will come up. A dual-wielding Feferi would, in my mind at least, wield either 2x3dentKind, but with two of them or a specialized 2x-2x3dentkind. The latter would be pronounced two-times-two-by-three-dent-kind. The dash is there to separate the two sets of numbers to avoid confusion.

you can access any of your allocated items from one particular specibus freely. you don't need a special specibus to dual wield, and if you tried to allocate multiple swords, you'd just end up with two swords in a bladekind.

i don't understand why peoples 'headcanons' involve making things needlessly complicated or convoluted. and almost never in a good way.

Your Strife Specibus also contains a FLARE GUN that you've rigged to shoot a variety of COLORFUL FLARES because you thought they looked cool, kind of like fireworks.

You have GOOD EYESIGHT, and you would like to make sure it stays that way. That is why you are always wearing SHADES when you are gliding to keep debris out of your eyes. You are now SIKTEM OCTERE. You are a (former) sea-dwelling purple blood, and you are 9.5 Sweeps old. Your interests include MEDICINE, HELPING OTHERS, GENEROSITY, AND NOT BEING ASSOCIATED WITH YOUR ANCESTOR IN THE SLIGHTEST WAY POSSIBLE. Why? Well quite frankly, your ancestor, Mangler Bodyhack, was incredibly cruel, vicious, and downright sadistic. While every seadweller can be expected to kill landdwellers en masse, the Mangler would kill even more, often in excessively torturous ways, like pointless surgery without anesthesia, seeing at what temperature a troll melts, trying to find out what temperature troll blood freezes at, what would happen if you sewed two trolls together at the waist, and other really horrible ways. Long story short, the other highbloods were so appalled at his behavior that they joined up to chase him off to a small island where he was eventually found, tried, and executed.

Needless to say, you REALLY don't want to be associated with that. In fact, having the same symbol, typing quirk, blood color, and lusus (An octopus) as your freakishly evil ancestor greatly weighed on you as a grub. It's well known that those sort of conditions can make a grub grow up to be strange, and well, you happened to grow up very odd: You have no desire whatsoever to hurt any other troll at all. As you grew up, you began to show worrying signs of compassion and kindness, as well as unhealthily questioning the hemospectrum. Eventually, you ran away from your undersea hive to go and live on the surface, maybe in hopes that you could escape the legacy of your ancestor and possibly even atone for it.

Fortunately, you are a very good runaway doctor. Before you fled your hive, you packed a good deal of medical supplies, some of which were your ancestor's all along. Regrettably, you still wear his first medical coat (when he got older he made one out of troll skin) which you wear with shame. You use a surgical mask and cool shades to help cover your own gills, keeping your blood anonymous. Most importantly, you have your robo-arms, which are attached to a harness on your back. These arms greatly help you with whatever you intend to do, especially surgery. You cover these arms and your medical coat (regretfully marked with your ancestor's feared symbol) with a massive white jacket.

While you do want to help people, you are incredibly shy, often avoiding conversation. You frequently live in fear someone will find out your identity, and cull you simply for being associated with the Mangler, so you like to avoid most personal contact, and will almost never remove your disguise in public, unless another troll needs help. But when you do interact, you are soft-spoken, kind, gentle, and pleasant. You happen to be an effective mediator, and an amazing auspestice. You're also fairly intimidating- your disguise is a bit unnerving, and your robo-arms can be flat-out terrifying, as well as the symbol of your ancestor, which once made a subjuggalator run in terror (even though you just wanted to help with his broken arm!). However, whenever a Troll needs medical attention, you compulsively act out to help them- sometimes before thinking! Maybe it's the accumulated guilt over your ancestor, or maybe it's this impulse, but either way, your self-preservation instinct isn't always the best in emergency situations. While so far you can always patch yourself up, someday you might burst into trouble that you can't get back out of.

You use the COERCION MODUS, which involves gently coaxing your sylladex to give you the item you need (or you could threaten it, but that was what your ancestor did). You utilize SCAPELKIND, mainly for surgical procedures (although if there is no alternative, you know enough about troll anatomy to make a quick, painless killing blow). Your trolltag is wanderingPhysician, and you tend to speak "normally", but somettimes you get a bitt exxcited and accidenttly let sometthing slip!

blood color. that's a good one. mutant reds wouldnt wear it on their shirt because it basically sticks a flag on them that says 'CULL HERE'. there's a reason karkat hides his, so you could either change it to a different color that is much less mutant or hide it, and it'd probably make more sense.

also... that box in advanced options? that one that says disable smilies in text? check it. that, and we use hex codes (click the link) here, not RGB codes.

as for your strife specibus, uhh... songKind seems a bit... off. guitarKind would make sense, given the bashing, but does she specifically have a power that makes the song hurt someone? may want to specify.

also, standard troll eyes are black.

and... do you have a sprite thats properly sized...?? that one is really small and has a bright red background.

Trolls don't have dungeons & dragons, it would more like a game with an absurdly long title, or at least a troll equivalent.
If she uses SongKind (does that even exist) she can't use a guitar at the same time unless she has GuitarKind too.

ok I edited it to remove as much of my stupid noobiness as possible. Anyway she'll just go ahead and use guitar kind to beat on people. And as far as blood color goes, i'm going for a dark pink-red closer to Aradia, and she doesn't hide her blood color so I figured it wouldn't be a big deal.

I'll draw a better sprite tomorrow when I get time and substitute it. This is my first try so of course i'm going to look like a stupid wiggler. :/

EDIT: ok I put a better pic in too and chose a more suitable less-mutant blood color.

none of us were trying to make you look like a stupid kid, just offering constructive criticism toward your profile. anyhow, the sprite would probably be fine, its just a matter that the sizing is completely off and it looks like an icon rather than a troll sprite. but anyhow, any criticism toward your troll is meant in the best way possible, so chill yo attitude w/ that, lest people get a lot meaner.

furthermore, the guitarKind thing is probably a good idea. as for the bloodcolor, it looks really close to mutant red on your picture, so if anything i would just suggest darkening it a bit.

and a further criticism, i am pretty sure girl trolls flarp all the time. probably just as much as boy trolls.

but anyhow, looks a lot better now that you've made a few changes. i look forward to seeing the new sprite and possibly edits. wish y'luck.

oh, i'm sorry if it seemed like i had an attitude. I was just upset about how stupid my mistakes were. Lunar sweeps? really? then again it is like 6 in the morning here and i haven't slept yet XD so i'm not exactly in the clearest state of mind.

I mostly just want to have a chill time and let out some of my homestuck obsession, but i'm not all that hardcore a fan so I may not know everything and if I mess up i'm happy to make any changes required ^_^

anyways the new sprite pic is up, edited for all the details and better symbol/blood color. What do you guys think?

Its always recommended you start with the standard sprite base, not draw your own. Which seems to be what you've done, but I can't particularly tell...? But anyway, the resolution definitely needs a little bit of work, and it seems like you guessed on the horn color, too. i suggest taking a normal sprite from the wiki, aka eridan, feferi, gamzee, etc, and then basing the colors off of them.

...skin color looks right though! and the blood color looks just about right, you're definitely getting there!

Ok. I didn't realize I absolutely had to go by a model, I just went into MSpaint and did the best I could freehand. that's probably what my problem was. I didn't even know where to find these models. I'll definitely go back and do a real sprite from a base, but it's definitely going to have to wait for a while cuz i really should get some sleep x_x

EDIT: also, what's still wrong with the blood color? is it too pink? cuz i definitely like the pinkish tint but if it doesn't fit into the hemospectrum properly i'll change it.
