Once upon a time, there was a brave man with a vision. He had the shocking, impossible idea, that maybe not just fictional characters could be shipped. That perhaps, the love shared on this most sacred of internet isles, could be channeled into the pure, raw energy of shipping.

People joined him, undeterred by the threats leveled at them by even the most righteous of moderators. They powered through ferocious wars, the formation of kingdoms, and drama that the real world created, that somehow breached the walls of the internet continuum. But the Forumites are strong. They are courageous. They are shippers.

And with the guidance of the Old Posters, of the Patron Moderators, of the Senior Forumites, and the Romance Royalty themselves, the blessing of Hussie himself may just rain on our ships; the sacred ships between not fiction six-sweep-olds, but of people who are real digital flesh-and blood.

Notes on how to update the program

If you ever wonder how to put more users into the RSG after the latest version has been released, here's how! Refer to this screenshot from the Data sheet, at the bottom of the blue table with the usernames:

(This is build 2.009, not the public 2.000 version. The cell numbers may be different, but the general gist will be the same.)

1. Enter the names on the "Username" column. It can be in any order, but I usually enter them in the order of appearance in the post.
2. On the "Index" box, continue the series. In this case, on B109 you'd write 96, on B110 you'd write 97 and so on.
3. Extend the blue handle on the bottom-right of the table down to the last username.
4. Done!

IMPORTANT RULES

• This thread will be locked the moment a mod gets a reasonable complaint or something is reported. If anyone--even people not participating in the thread--is made legitimately uncomfortable by the content, it's gotta go. Due to the rising number of shenanigans in the recent threads, I would like to respectfully lay down some guidelines about drama.

• We here on the shipping thread are a close knit community. Sharing of problems and ideas is encouraged and welcomed, because we care about one another. HOWEVER, if it goes on for over one page, take the issue to PMs or the Alt Forum, please.
• Never, ever, EVER tease someone about real life issues, including gender, sexuality, real romance, religion, race, grades, or anything else they may share here! That is wrong and you may be reported. Remember, WE ARE FRIENDS HERE!
• If your drama or problem may “Trigger” something, I.E., make someone upset or cause them emotional pain, please keep it to PMs, or go to the handy Serious Business Thread. We care about your problems and want you to feel safe, but at the same time, this is a lighthearted place, and too much drama is not healthy for us.
• If you have an actual issue with another forumite, do not hesitate to PM them! You will be listened to, and if you are actually having a non-shipping problem with them, it’s best to work them out instead of holding them in.
• Do you have an issue at school? Maybe you’re actually having trouble in your life? Don’t feel like any of the other recommendations for where to go with your drama are right for you? We’re your friends! Find one of the forumites you are friends with and PM them for help. Then your problems will be kept private, but you can still be helped.
