Last time you checked, you were pretty sure you’re a HUMAN.

Why wouldn’t you be? A human is a perfectly respectable thing to be. Coming to terms with HUMANITY, and all of its associated flaws and mundane strengths, is the quintessential and unavoidable journey of youth, isn’t it? After all, ANIMAL FANTASY, particularly the type that involves BRIGHTLY-COLORED CANIDS WITH MAGIC POWERS, is for little kids and certain types of internet losers.

Because you are most certainly a human, you probably have a human NAME. But, on the off chance that you’re now a POKÉMON, you probably have a NATURE.

This adventure is a Pokémon/Homestuck crossover. Not in the obvious sense of "hey, let's make Ash and his friends play SBURB" (not happening) or "hey, let's put the Homestuck characters into the Pokéverse and make them into trainers/Pokémon!" (not ruling it out entirely, and nothing against this kind of AU story [I enjoy them, even] but so not the main point, and there are plenty of other stories like this already, even on this forum)

No, this is a crossover where the Pokémon universe exists within the larger construct of Paradox Space, so all Pokémon mechanics (species, types, levels, moves) are present alongside Homestuck mechanics (sylladices, universe-creation games, doomed timelines and weird time shit) and merged as cleanly as possible.

Additionally, it is a Pokémon Mystery Dungeon crossover, wherein the world is populated by intelligent, talking Pokémon and no humans are allowed in the alpha timeline (this doesn't necessarily mean that humans are unheard of, however). All of the events from PMD Rescue Team up until Rayquaza does that thing to that thing at the top of Sky Tower are considered canon for the purposes of this adventure, as are all of the events of all of PMD Explorers except for Special Episode 5, but some elements are slightly changed to make the weird time shit work. Adventure Squad isn't, because that game was Japan-only, less plot-based, and doesn't figure into my headcanon at all because I never got a chance to play it.
