1: Yikes! Thanks for all the thanks, people. I'm just contributing whatever I can to help this project along.

2: Updated the locations list with Siranae and SenorEverClever.

3: I left people off the list who responded with interest after lightningSeamstress closed signups. BUT I think being easily accessible (ie, checks the forums pretty frequently) would be important for keeping up communication. The first rule of EILE is "Do not sign up if you are unreliable. If you do not regularly check your messages and reply to them, we cannot get in touch with you."
What I'm getting at is a suggestion that - lightningSeamstress, somewhere down the road, you could send a short test message to all the participants and require that they reply. Wait a week or two, and if someone hasn't replied, then take them off the list. pan and Subotan would definitely be the first ones to get slotted in. So stay hopeful!

3.5: Mentioning also that people under the age of consent (minors) need a parent's permission in order to participate. There have been incidents in past projects where parents threw away mysterious packages addressed for their children.

I've updated the opener with some of the stuff you've said, and I've also found a good sewing pattern, so hopefully I can make us a good hand-made Maplehoof (The pattern is here, by the way- http://nocturnalequine.deviantart.co...ttern-89589236 ) I'd have to hand-sew it though... (If I can't salvage one of those ancient sewing-machines in out barn. Why are those even in there?)

But really, I'm absolutely tickled and thanks again! I'm helping however I can right now because I anticipate being loads busier once fall quarter and band start up again, which (school-wise) might also be the case for other Northern Hemisphere people. Another worry might also be shipping stuff during rainy/snowy seasons later in the year.
Anyways, that's just me bugging and fussing and meddling.

We could open up a donation box of sorts over paypal. Calculate the approximate costs, people can chip in money, and that money is forwarded to the person who needs to shoulder the cost. In fact, if we want to expand that further, we could just keep the box up in case someone needs to get the money to ship it but just can't, and the administrators can forward the money at their own jurisdiction. Just an idea though.

That'd be great! I almost wish I could take it to this one convention here called Anime Festival Orlando, because I'm running a Homestuck panel there; I'd LOVE to get some shots with Maplehoof in that! XD
