To be fair, the things didn't exactly seem to mind, and they seemed pretty malleable like Play-Doh or something. And while she's strong, Bubblegum knows that she can't really do anything to fight the Lich.

I probably wouldn't think much of her cutting those thing's legs off if it weren't for the fact that she's a massive bitch, and every episode she gets worse.

I liked how Finn's dream was more of a warning to Finn (prob from the Cosmic Owl) but he couldn't figure it out until it was too late. If Finn and Jake asked the Princesses for their gems instead of taking them, the Lich would've been figured out ahead of time. Finn was acting blindly, trusting too much in what "Billy" told him to do.

We've seen his stepmom. And we've seen what is either an alternate dimensional version of his birth mother or a (also alternate dimensional) human version of his stepmother.
What we have not seen is his birth mother from within the series' main continuity.

Thats why you shouldn't go on quests in the middle of the night. Your brain won't work so well w/o sleep. GROWING BOYS NEED THEIR SLEEP FINN! Maybe that was part of the Lich's plan? You notice everytime someone has a premonition of the Lich or a dream with him in, the resulting actions lead to him furthering his plans? Maybe they are not premonitions at all and small mind control spells that are breaking through.
