I think I'll probably call him Willie from now on. I've never liked how pretentious people call him "Bill", I feel like Willie would have suited his sense of whimsy more.

I-I might just be making up the thing about the whimsy, you guys.

Sometimes the email subject is something you are supposed to be saying to Ryan in the email. So maybe it's US that are chilling with willie shakespeare. :O

    Guys.

I didn't know about the mail text or the archive text.

    Guys. Seriously.

How am I supposed to resist reading them all.

This is ridiculous, guys. I have things to do and hours to spend sleeping. I just can't.

I get the occasional email saying "Today I finished reading all the Dinosaur Comics there are, and wanted to email you to let you know, and JUST FOUND OUT THERE'S CONTACT TEXT. :0 :0 :0"

But I write back saying, "it's not so bad! Now, when you go back to a comic, there's a new special treat waiting for you."

Yes, because framing your skin cells is a sign of a trustworthy relationship.

If someone was to me as Ryan North is to Andrew Hussie I would trust them with my life, zero hesitation, instantly under any circumstances.

Great, now the nightmares will start up again. This is worse than the last time I saw a Marble hornets entry.

I don't have much to say about this except that it's a good time to reread Ryan and Joey's Twitter rap battle.

Hearken, dudes, the terrifying tale of my vacation
A cabin in the woods was our dire destination
Nothing could prepare us for what we’d see next
Stompin’ on the cabin was lime green T-Rex.
    He raised a razor claw to bid us fight or flee;
Sheila stood her ground while I hid behind a tree.
    The battle was quick, her performance was spotty;
The beast had her pinned even though she knew karate.

Then Dromiceiomimus came a lumberin’ by
I knew she hadn’t seen us so I tried to catch her eye
“Aidez-moi!,” I cried, I guess she knew some French
She understood my plight and her heart begin to wrench
She shed a single tear at the sight of Sheila’s captor
and whispered, “Never fear, I’ll go fetch Utahraptor!”

Quick as a whip our orange chum was on the scene,
“Fear not my friends, I’ll defeat this frightful fiend.”
He called T-Rex a dairy farmer, T-Rex called him cattle.
It was on; Thus began their RAP BATTLE!
Disses traded in verse as they stood toe-to-toe
The hot fire they spat only matched by their sick flow.
The epic rhyme struggle continued for hours
Till both combatants ran out of lyrical powers
Utahraptor made a final retort so profound
Sheer effrontery knocked T-Rex to the ground.

Shiela took a hold of my arm and we ran.
I rose the morrow morn a sadder, wiser man.

(This started out as a rap but ended up being epic poetry by accident. So I stole the end from The Rime of the Ancient Mariner.)

Roll over text: remember that in dinosaur comics land, justin bieber is a SENTIENT DINOSAUR that lived millions of years ago. think about that before you say "oh, no, i don't like THAT sort of musician"

contact text: good old reality! yep! can't improve on that just by inventing a holodeck!

email text: oh god I don't actually know what the email text is, forgive me.

Haha I really like this one. What kind of dinosaur is Justin Beiber, do you think? one with impressive head feathers no doubt.

the email text is the contact text, lol. the one you're missing is archive text, which for this comic is:

this comic inspired by actual justin bieber rubber bands i saw, and also by a moment seconds later in which i did manage to improve on reality, simply by closing my eyes.

Ahh, Rubber Dino Beiber; a Beiber I can almost get behind stand. This Dino Comic reminds me of the underwear gnomes:

    1. steal underwear
    2. ????
    3. Profit!!

Much like the webapp IPO bubble. *Sigh*, hide your money in your mattress.

Fun fact: Last year I was walking across campus and I tripped over a loose brick. Rather that instinctively saying 'ow' or 'oh crap' or 'whoops' I say (somewhat rushed) 'I meant to do that.'

I've finally conditioned myself to have that be my first response to any accident that befalls me.

    THIS IS EXCELLENT

Everything I do is now intentional, part of some grander scheme you just simply can't understand.
    Eh.

to be honest, I always prefered 'pins' to 'gams', sexier and funnier.

Living in a strict Asian home, I've trained myself fairly well to avoid swearing in situations that are particularly toe-stubby. Usually I just sort of let out a yell or sharp exhale and a memorable line, like "Oh mans, what a great day, I hope I don't do anything extremely painful to my foGAAAK! WHY!" or "Golly gee, it sure got dark down here. Hopefully I can avoid slamming my bare toe against the mini-fridge on my way to this light swiHAAAAAAAAAAAAaaaaaaaah man, did I enjoy that!"
