WHAT ARE THOSE THINGS ON YOUR WALL ARE THEY BUGS KILL THEM KILLLLLL
Look out the window.
Check your pockets!
Look behind the wall fishie!
YEESSS!!
You love your name. It's so perfect! Your mother always told you it was the same one from last time, but at least it's better that DURFUS or <undefined>. Just listen to that shit: BRAN-DON. Hell yeah.
You should probably head to work now. If there is anything in this room that you think you might need, get it now.
Will you need the fishing rod? Do you have any drawers to open?
Otherwise I can't think of anything (Unless you want to take the bedsheet and wear it as a cape)
>Bring your alarm clock. Seeing as it didn't wake you up in time for work, it's obviously defective, and can now only be used as a makeshift bludgeon.
You take the fishing rod. The rod by itself is pretty useless, so you take the line and a couple of lures as well. Your clock should prove to be handy if you find yourself without the time. The drawer in your bedside table yielded a manual for your extra-dimensional utility belt. You already know how to store items in it, so you stuff everything in there.
...and you take the rubber snake too. Gotta have rubber snakes.
...
It always feels kind of weird walking down the hall so early in the morning. Already, people fill the place. The entire ship is swimming with activity, and you're barely even awake. It makes you feel like you want to do something other than throw a bunch of liquids together.
But you love your job. The definition of it sounds like something anyone can do, but there's much more to it. You get to hear all of the gossip and what's going on in the world, and you don't even need to turn on a television. You need to do tricks for your customers and find new and interesting ways to get the job done.
And you get to polish glass like a boss.
Because you're a bartender.
Greg: "You're late for work again."
Brandon: "You should really stop throwing bricks at my wall. I have to pay for that, you know."
"You know the contract. Every day from 8:00 to 16:00, and then it's my shift."
"It's 4:15."
"No, it's 8:15. Ship moves. You been here long enough to know to change your clock."
You need some coffee.
Ingredients: Coffee (beans), Water, Milk, Sugar
Containers: Ceramic Mugs
Tools: Grinder (in 1 out 1), Instant Brewer (in 2 out 1)
Tutorial: State which ingredients go where in what machine to process items. Items may also be combined with one another directly. Processed liquids must go into containers that can hold them. Successful mixtures will (usually) yield new substances, and failed mixtures will result in the loss of ingredients. Once a recipe has been discovered, it will be added to the list. Complex recipes that require more than one step may be created instantly (unless they require some amount of time) so long as you have sufficient resources. Results of mixing will be posted the following update in a spoiler, unless it's the only thing to post.
2 Coffee in Grinder get 1 Ground Coffee
Put 1 Ground Coffee and 1 Water in Instant Brewer
Put Brewed Coffee in Ceramic Mug
Add Sugar and Milk to taste
>Flood the boat with your limitless supply of coffee grounds.
Coffee Beans(x1) > Grinder = Grounds(x1)
Grounds(x1) + Water(x1) > Instant Brewer = Pot o' Joe
Pour yourself a mug. Drink it black, like a real man.
Also, I like this mechanic. I hope it continues to be used throughout the adventure.
Mixing Results:
Evidently, you are a pansy when it comes to coffee. But it tastes sssoooo good.
You can be so much more productive now, but this stuff kind of makes you want to sit down. Things might even start looking a little funny.
"Heads up, people coming."
Sure enough, two people walk in. The day is beginning.
You're so awake.
"Morning. I'll have a White Russian, like yesterday."
"Just give me whatever."
Ingredients: Coffee Beans, Water, Milk, Sugar, Ethanol
Containers: Cups, Bowls
Tools: Grinder (in 1 out 1), Instant Brewer (in 2 out 1), Chiller (in 1 out 1), Flavor Extractor (in 1 out 1-2)
Tips:
- The Instant Brewer had a time distorting feature. You can input ingredients and choose how long you want it to work with them. Inside the machine, it takes the normal amount of time to do whatever it is doing, but to you, no time has passed at all. For example, you can pour in any cheap wine and have it return an expensive, 50-year-old wine. You can make beer by dumping the necessary ingredients and fermenting them.
- The Chiller has a similar function, allowing glasses and drinks to be cooled.
- The Extractor can be used to pull raw flavors from liquids and powders, while leaving behind a nutritious, but flavorless "gruel".
- Most Liquors can be obtained by combining Sugar, Ethanol, and flavors with the Instant Brewer.
Recipes:
Ahh what is a White Russian I don't even knooooow
Uh, for the other guy give him a light coffee?!
First, check IDs!
Water in the chiller to make ice. Grind some coffee, put the powder through the flavor extractor. Combine sugar, ethanol, and coffee flavor in Instant Brewer to make coffee liqueur. Combine sugar and ethanol in the instant brewer to make vodka I guess? Mix four parts vodka, two parts coffee liqueur, two parts milk. Split into two glasses over ice. Two White Russians! Serve.

Make 1 shot of coffee (1/4 oz of ground beans) instabrewed with 1 oz ethanol instead of water and aged for a fortnight. Mix this with 1 oz ethanol and 1 oz water (a very dry vodka), along with 1 to 1.5 oz of "condensed milk" (made with the extractor).
WHITE RUSSIAAAAAN
EDIT: ADD SUGAR TO TASTE
