This too. Also, I'm not sure if it's just my typing speed or style or whatever, but there's a 25% chance of my capitalizing the first two letters in a word instead of just the first one. I cannot for the life of me spell "receive." I add random e's to from.

I, too, suffer from FRequent Doublecapsitis (FRD). I don't think my doublecap rate is quite 25%, but it is higher than I'd like to admit. I think my propensity towards making typos in general is about average, but when I make a typo and my fingers know I made a typo, my right pinky reflexively goes up to the backspace key before my eyes have a chance to register it. This was particularly annoying when I tried taking a typing speed test where hitting the wrong key would do nothing (except add one to the error count), and hitting backspace did the same nothing, effectively doubling my error count.

On forums, the only typing quirk I use sometimes is an overdose of emoticons.
However, when I try to sound "intelligent" I don't use any and I type just as perfect as Rose. However, when I'm excited I TEND TO TYPE IN ALL CAPS SOMETIMES WITH NO SYNTAX OR ANYTHING however it depends.

When I'm on IM, I type like Jade. i don't use capitals, but i do use syntax (except for periods) and loads of emoticons too and i may or may not abuse exclamation marks when i'm excited!!! AND THE CAPS AGAIN TOO
Actually, when it comes to personality I'm a lot like Jade. Also I look like a blonde version of her. It's creepy.

Honestly, I hate people who type like Kanaya. You know, always capitalizing The First Letter Of Every Word, and no punctuation. I want to stab those people in the face with a fork.

Hell, I just hate it when anyone on the internet types with a "quirk". It's like fuck if you want people to actually understand you type like a goddamn normal person /facebook

when i was little i always said "um" and "like" waaaaay too much in one sentence and i used it alot when i just couldn't think of anything or used it to start a conversation

I say "um" and "uh" way too much. I also used to say "like" all the time, but I've tried to drop that word out of my vocabulary almost entirely... I kinda whisper and mouth words as I type so whenever I can't think of anything to write at the moment, I tend to type "uhhhhh,,,," or "um,,,," or sometimes even an occasional "errrr,,," when I'm chatting because I don't really have time to think about it and I'm too lazy to change it...

I also do "..." a lot in leu of just a single period

and if there's a line break and I'm still talking about the same thing I don't capitalize the first letter or put a period at the end of the previous sentence.

In Portuguese: There was this time when I would use a lot of abbreviations. A LOT. And all the time, everywhere. There probably wasn't a single word that wasn't abbreviated, as it is so easy in Portuguese. People in the Forums I regularly visited said it was needed a language dictionary only for me.

These days, only in IM's I use a 'quirk': almost perfect syntax, the only difference of normal typing being that I don't capitalize the first words and I don't end sentences with the dot.

Same as second paragraph as well, for both english and portuguese. But only for Instant Messaging. The quirk in my sig is only for my accent, though.

When I'm typing quickly I sometimes wind up with the first two letters of a word capitalized when I only intended one, and with the last letter of a line cut off because I pressed enter too soon.

A friend of mine misspells "stupid" and "stupied" every single time. In my head I read it as stupeeeeed.

Another friend is inordinately fond of using acronyms only he knows the expansion of. He refers to Battle for Wesnoth as "W".

One thing I notice whenever I take a look at my keyboard is that the left side of the spacebar has some signs of wear, while the right side of the spacebar is virtually untouched; I almost always hit the spacebar key with my left thumb. Clearly this is not the sort of quirk one would notice from looking at what I've typed, but it is something quirky that I do in RL, so it fits the thread. Oddly enough, in typing this up I actually double tapped the spacebar with my right index finger. I only barely caught this aberrant behaviour when my index finger was moving back to the home row.

At any rate, about 999 times out of 1000 I hit the spacebar with my left thumb.

Honestly Before I started reading homestuck. I would occasionaly type in alternating 3's with e's and o with 0's an the capital A with 4.

I tend to use ~'s with wild abandon. Mostly in place of periods.
I've also taken to typing_like_this_in_IMs,_because_many_of_my_keyboa rd_keys_are_broken.

It's not that much of an annoying quirk as much as it's a thing that keeps happening. I tend to have something in parentheses often (mostly added information that I feel others would need to know to understand the point I'm getting to but would probably be incompatible with the sentences.) When I'm IMing, I tend to not capitalize the beginning of a sentence unless there was a period right before it.
Example:
that was pretty cool. Maybe some extra explosions could make it even cooler?

Also, this doesn't make it into my typing, but since I use RPG maker a lot, I sometimes get the urge to put a \. (the thing that makes the text pause in text-boxes for .25 seconds in that program) where pauses are supposed to go in when I'm typing.

It's not so much a typing quirk as a speaking quirk, but I've noted to oftentimes slip into rather odd non sequitor statements or just weird ways of wording things.

For example, while watching a completely unrelated football game:

"What I think is unofrgivable is the fact that the Minnesota Vikings' fans don't go and pillage the opposing team's tailgates and steal all their delicious grilled meat products."

Besides the no-caps and no period quirks, I tend to use text emoticons (namely :@, c: and : D) 100% more than necessary. I just feel like some of what I say is a bit abrasive unless I add a super special iloveyou face. Or that if I go on for too long without putting one, I seem angry or something. Oh, and, periods before faces look weird to me : D I alternate between line-break overkill and run-on sentences. So I guess my typing is a little sporadic. I HAVE AN ON GOING LOVE AFFAIR WITH THE CAPS LOCK BUTTON and I alway smake thes etype soft ypos because I type too fast for my eyes to follow. I am all typetypetypetrjhgkjdfENTERKEY. IRL I jumble up my words almost as much as I make typos, it's actually really embarrassing.

When I Speak, I tend to spin my Hands in a Circular motion, and I also Suddenly Stop Speaking in the Middle of Sentences, only to Abruptly begin Speaking again Moments Later.
Also, I Use the Word "Also" often.

I don't really have a typing quirk... Unless typing "..." more than usual counts. Sometimes, though, I end my sentences with a "/" instead of a period. Although, that's just when I type really quickly, and don't process what I type before I post it.

I tend to TYPE IN ALL CAPS FOR NO REASON quite often.

As far as speaking quirks go, we had a guest conductor in the youth symphony I'm in. He would say "Ja" after every single thing he said. I'm not sure if he is even German. It was highly distracting and a good portion of the symphony was in silent peals of laughter the entire time.
