Is that from the Heart Gold and Soul Silver games?
Yep! Heart Gold all up in hur. B)
!!!
I am going to a con this weekend as well! It will be my first.
But it will not be Kumoricon, because I do not live in Washington.![]()
<--- That picture over there is called "Two Sheep Flying", by Wendy Detrick Worsham; to find more of her stuff, go here.
@Sprinkles: Awwwww Yeeah. Heart Gold all up in this bitch.
@Paosheep: Neither do I, but thats not stopping me.![]()

I probably did better in heart gold than any other game.
A lot better really.
Unfortunately, I sometimes have no reason to use anything but the porygon z
I lost my pokewalker when I was housing sitting at someones house. And I was sooooo close to getting that stinking Feebas. Heart Gold (and probably Soul Silver) seemed both easier and harder than Diamond/Pearl. I ended up being massively underleveled the entire game, but I guess I was able to win because of my Giritina I got from the Alpha ruins.
I lost my first walker at a school assembly when me and a friend were climbing around behind the bleachers instead of... not doing that. Luckily enough my brother wasnt really using his so it all worked out.... after about a year...
I cant tell if I did better or worse ing HG. I was likewise constantly underleveled the whole time except for one or two of my guys. I definitely managed to catch a lot more than usual, but I never really /finished/ the game seeing as how I basically up and quit just before the Elite Four rematch.... So...

San Diego where. 8<
I'm from a small part of SD, 'bout 20 minutes away from the Downtown area.
Also silly people what are you doing talking about pokewalkers in a place like this, haha. If anyone else is in the San Diego area though, tell me pleeease!!
[haha wow i just checked the front page and there's a lot of CA people!! but still, california is such a long state it's hard to get anywhere. :c I'd much rather travel 3 hours to Arizona than 8 hours or something to Sacramento!]

So today at school and while standing outside my classroom (I go DeAnza college, which is near San Jose) I noticed what appeared to be Homestuck symbols drawn on the back of a girl's phone. I froze dead; I could no longer see the device, and I hadn't been 100% sure. I waffled for about five minutes about whether or not to say someting and risk embarrassing myself if I was wrong, resolving to wait until she put her phone away for another look. Eventually she did, but that didn't help at all, so I went ahead and asked, "Sorry but were those Homestuck symbols on your phone?"
She froze like a deer in headlights and said, "Uhhh... yeah," turned heel, and walked away, leaving me to panic that I had scared her off with my awkward lack of social skills.

I actually got HG the minute it came out because I liked crystal version so much, it's also why I got such a rare party.
It's ALWAYS worth getting dragons
OR ones that evolve in the trade.
As to this, yes you did scare her off because of a lack of pulchritude, although she probably had an even smaller pulchritude, if she used the forums and stuck that stuff on a phone, I'd imagine she's not exactly problem sleuth.
What you gotta do, is don't idle, just walk up, be all like, "Hey, saw those stickers or whatever on your phone, you read homestuck?"
The tone is most important, be bold!
Also, if you ever get the chance to pick up some shades, or a cool hat, get them.
They give +5 pulchritude with no side affects, but make sure you pick RAD shades not fad shades.
Bad is fad these days, and you do not want bad, do you?
You also get a +5 pulchritude and sun resistance for the hat-shades combo.
There's absolutely no doubting that I'm far more of the PI, excessive-imagination type myself. Weak pulchritude stats here. Fedoras, though, are an essential accessory all around.

I live in Washington, east of Seattle. Homestuck was a quick addiction for me, a friend got me into it a couple of weeks ago, and now we have a tiny cosplay group for SakuraCon, and maybe Emerald City Comic Con. I am soo looking forward to it! If anyone is planning on going, or if they aren't super advance planning freaks like me, so they aren't sure, but are leaning towards it, I'd love to hear from you!
Some of us live north of San Diego city, in the North SD County! The train I think goes up to the Oceanside Transit Center which you can use to get to the pier (short walk) take the sprinter inland (all the way to Escondidoooooooooo) or to bus around! Yeah. The magics of TRANSIT.
SPEAKING OF WHICH my birthday is coming up in two months, and I thought it'd be kinda cool to have a small party type thing at the beach/pier (despite being autumn but WHO CARES THERE ARE JETTYS AND ROCKS TO BE CLIMBED. And shenanigans.
Just an idea to throw out there. I don't know anywhere else we can all reasonably meet aside from the Oceanside Pier. :I
If anybody at Kumoricon happens across a Terezi (probably lurking around the gaming area) with unfortunately pale skin and pastel-hued horns, that's meeee /Wiseau
Man I'd like to go to Sakuracon but it just might not be in the cards for me. Still I hope there are plenty of HS cosplayers to represent![]()
I pretty much never leave the gaming area, so Ill see you there I guess?
If You Can Read This, You're Not Blind.
I just got the idea of exchanging friend codes
anyone for that?
If you wanna throw down on some game, tell me over pesterchum on one of my accounts

I would, but I can't access my internet on mine.
GUYS.
Just so you guys know.
I am putting together a Homestuck cosplay group for AX next year.
With me and my friends from souther California, specifically the San Diego area.
We currently have 6, potentially 7.
And I figured it'd be really awesome for us to get an entire group of 16.
We already have the 4 kids, I myself am going as Sollux, and I'm pretty sure we already have a Fef.
The Aradia is questionable.
If any of you guys want to join in, or perhaps meet up like at the convention center or a park near there for a picnic for a casual homestuck cosplay day ripe with shenannigans, it would be fantastic.
The spoiler of wonders awaits youuuuuu. OOC pesterchum handle: dystopicMagi Feel free to pester me whenever. :'D

Los Angeles person here.
Hey hi-dee ho neighboroonees!
So basically Kumoricon was pretty cool. Everything was still hella expensive which wasnt helped by some kerfuffle between the bank and the place I was working at until a few weeks ago that resulted in about $100 of my "Buy Cool Shit At Kumoricon Fund" pulling a Houdini act. I managed to locate Miss Hirakegoma and friends in the game room on the first day before she seemingly disappeared off the face of the planet for the rest of the con.
Seen here looking decidedly adorabloodthirsty:
And uh.... Yeah. Im not much of a photographer, and I dont really take a lot of pictures ever, but heres all the pictures I took while I was there.

Ahoy hoy, this is me, stumbling into your thread from the... San Fernando Valley. Which is totally Los Angeles because that's in LA county and that definitely counts, right?![]()
