Yes, I know, I have been absent from the forums for a number of months now. I still have been keeping up with comic, of course!
I would like to let everyone who went to the San Francisco (Pier 39) meetup back in January that I do have the photos I took that day. Sorry for taking this long to share them with you!! I have them ready, but I have not published them online yet. I was thinking of making a Picasa web-album that is semi-private (anyone with the album-specific password can view it) to facilitate getting them to you and allowing you to show your close friends/family if you want...
So: I want to know your preferences about this. For instance Jackie did not want any photo she appeared in put online...would this Picasa idea count as that? The alternative is to try to airbrush you out of the group photo...

Again, sorry about my insane lateness. Life intervened for a while.

I finally came up with a way to post the photos from the January meetup in SF without having them viewable by the general public, as requested. I just made a Flickr account, and I uploaded the photos but set the privacy so that only my Flickr contacts can view them. I currently have no Flickr contacts. So, if you went to that meetup and want to see the photos from it, just PM me. I can either add you to my contacts, or just give you the "guest pass" link so you can see them even if you aren't a Flickr user.

So I had the dumbest idea. Given that we know where John's house is supposed to be , have any Washington fans ever made any effort to do a meet up in Maple Valley? Obviously it's kinda in the middle of nowhere (kinda), but you figure if anyone would make a huge deal out of it it'd be HS fans. The only problem I see is people actually visiting this house, which on the one hand is kinda cool, could also lead to all kinds of illegal shit.

Man, part of me wishes Hussie didn't choose an actual house for the location of John's house.

Maple valley.isn't actually in the middle of nowhere? I mean it's largely surrounded by nowhere, but its basically connected.through covington and Kent to the general puget sound metropolitan area. It's boring as all hell though, so I wouldn't recommend it as a place for a meetup.
