Any MA fans want to meetup?

Hey guys, I live around Boston, MA and I wanted to see if there were other fans out there. I saw a lot at Anime Boston but I wasn't in HS cosplay so I couldn't really participate.

But! We could meet up in Boston Common or something around summer and just fool around and make new friends.

Anyone interested?

Boston Common is especially a great place to meet. I am free after about 2 most weekdays, all day on fri-sun.

I wish I could join, this sounds like a great idea! I go to school in Boston, so I'm there for most of the year...I just happen to be home for the summer. Maybe we could do a second meetup on a weekend in the fall? Because of all the schools in the Boston area, I'm sure there would be plenty more Homestuck fans there then. If not, I hope you all have fun!

Sadface. I live in Worcester and would have to take a train there. But my long days at work are Friday through Sunday, and I work night xD So unless there was a meetup on a weekday, or my boss hires someone else who could let me have more than one day off, I can't make it.

However, in September I'm going to King Richard's Faire with Homestuck-reading friends in troll outfits (weekend yet to be determined, but we'll have pirate!Vriska, wench!Feferi, and one or two undecided), and October we're going to AAC up in New Hampshire :3

Also, already have plans for Anime Boston next April, in regards to Homestuck, if people are interested in that. In between those two, not sure what cons and events I'll be able to get to. Mainly because I'm fairly new to the area and anime conventions in general, so I have no idea what's going on xD

Unless cosplay is a requirement. Is it? I'd probably just come in my t-shirt and that'd be that.

My only concern would be that I (and shadonix, but I don't know if he'd care or not) am probably younger than a lot of fans and that could be awkward. :/ idk

The guy organizing this is 16. We're 14. It won't be that bad. Also they're doing a fall meetup as well and Bu then the costumes will probably be ready. If we can make both, we can just dress for the fall one. I might throw something together though.

I don't have any Homestuck friends (yet? heheh), but I would LOVE to meet some other fans. My mom has let me take the T into Boston before, so Boston would be a good place for me, too.

AAC is 'Another Anime Convention' :3 It happens in Nashua, NH, which is pretty much just past the border of MA, in October.

I think it'd be helpful if people posted what times, generally, they could meet up. Like, I almost always work weekends, but if I have about two weeks notice, I could ask for a Saturday/Sunday off. Also, I'd prefer it to start between, say, noon and three, as I'm in Worcester and have to take a two-hour train ride there and back. (Unless I get a car in between now and then, then the time is no issue.)

Same with me. I get super busy with schoolwork, especially since I'll have 2 AP classes this year. Anyhow, wow! That is soon! But that's a good thing :- )
