You are a
Legend.
Long ago, you embarked on a journey. A Journey to finally free the world from the oppressive forces of darkness.
It would not be easy, but you knew your courage and your keen skills with the blade would carry you well.
As tales of your epic journey spread across the lands, you quickly became a singular symbol of hope for the people.
People regarded you as their saviour, a hero who could finally deliver them out of this grim age.
The pawns of Darkness knew you only as their destroyer.
Your blade vanquished over a thousand hell spawn from this world, you became known as the bane of evil itself in due time.
After many years of travelling, your journey came to an end, with your mission complete. You had saved the world from plunging into eternal darkness.
And the people rejoiced.
You were heralded as a great hero and promised that your tale would stand the test of time, for all eternity.
Hundreds of thousands of years have past since your odyssey. Your story has been written down hundreds of times in tomes and books, bards sung of your heroic deeds.
In more modern times, films were created in your honour and your historic saga was preserved on the internet.
You would be forever known as a true hero and a legend.
There is just one small problem.
...
None of that happened.
This is
You.
You are a waitress for a popular chain of restaurants known as
Lucky Star. You like the job; it's pretty well paid for the work that you have to do and has good hours.
What
is a problem however is you have to interact with the public.
And that is nigh on impossible with your "heroic" status. As soon as you rear your head, you are greeted with mad cheers, autograph requests and people saying they're 'so proud of you'.
It's
really annoying, to say the least.
Right now you are waiting to pick up some orders to deliver to some tables. That is, if someone doesn’t ninja you and demands to take the food because "OH YOU CAN'T DO SOMETHING SO MUNDANE, YOU'RE A LEGEND!"
Urgh.
Huh?
Oh yeah, you bumped into a fellow waiter and he spilt some gravy over you.
Christ you should have seen it, he was so ridiculously apologetic, he even offered to commit suicide. You swear to god this stupid hero thing will be the death of you, or someone else.
Anyway,
What does your name tag say?
