Yes! You've been wanting to see Rangor Nests for as long as you can remember! Which is about four seconds, but still. You run through the door excitedly.

A desert? You don't see any nests immediately. You start to run over the dune and see if the nests are there, when you hear a sickening crunch.
...This could be bad.

Making your actions as clear as possible for the benefit of any theoretical watcher, you approach the door labeled "Rangor Nests". It opens as you get near, and after stepping through it, you notice it close and then disappear behind you.

Holy gog these trees are huge! You can't even see the ground!

You succeed in not touching the sand. You do this by not going to the Rangor Nests.

SAND ANGELS!

You rush through the Rangor Nests door and start making a sand angel. You quickly get sand in your everything, and an antlion bites your finger. It hurts. You sit up and shake it off, and the sand angel promptly fills in. You notice a strange feline creature staring at you.

It's harder than you expected. You fall through the jungle, bouncing off branches along the way. About halfway down, a branch hits you in the face and you black out.

"For all we know, he might have caused this!"
There is a brief pause in the conversation. You take enough stock of your surroundings to realize you are in some sort of hammock. You have not yet opened your eyes or moved in any way.

What am I wearing? Also, what shape is the room and how many doors are there? Can I read the unlit signs? And is there anything I should know about the box?
While I'm at it, where is the light coming from and what is the ceiling like? Is the floor carpeted?

In other words, I look around a little more carefully.

By the way, who am I and how did I end up in this box?

You do so.

You seem to be in a hammock in a wooden room. The room appears to be all one section, as if it was carved out of a massive block of wood. The floor is polished. There are two creatures nearby, who resume talking without noticing you.
"I know it's hard to leave them like this, but it's better for only us to survive than for nobody to."
"...Yeah. All right."
...
"Who else is still left?"
"It's just us.
...You ready?"
"Yeah."
It sounds like they'll leave now unless you do something to stop them.

You enter the door labeled "Guala Village".

There's some more of those huge trees. And one of those creatures. Also a wall made of hedges.

You look around the room. It is very large and circular, with the box near one edge. The floor, walls, and ceiling all seem to be made of the same material, which you cannot identify. Neither can you find a light source; it seems to be coming from everywhere at once, or nowhere.
There are a lot of doors, more than you're willing to count. You examine an unlit sign and find that it is a rectangular array of lights, not arranged into words.
You also examine the box. It appears to made of aluminum, or possibly wood. The inside is slightly padded. Other than that, it appears to be merely a solid box.
You think about yourself and realize that you cannot remember anything. You have no idea who you are, or how you entered the box. You check your clothes for clues. Your pants are ordinary jeans, and the pockets are empty. Your boots are similarly nondescript. The shirt is somewhat odd; it is made of an ordinary cotton fabric, but has one short sleeve, and one long one that extends into a strange device. This device appears to be made of some sort of metal, and has a purple lit gauge and a large red button. You have no idea what it is or does.

If the room is circular, isn't there technically only one wall? Are the floor and ceiling flat?

The light is coming from everywhere? So, no shadows? Am even I emitting light?

I investigate the device on my arm. Does the gauge tell me anything (even if it's something I can't make sense of)? Are there any seams? Would it be possible to remove? Is it attached to my sleeve, or my arm, or neither?

Are the lit up doors next to each other?

Jump down from where? Regardless, you approach the creature and ask,
"What's happening?"
"Um, not much?
...Who are you? Actually, WHAT are you?"
...You're not quite sure about either of those.

The floor and ceiling are indeed flat. The wall also is perfectly vertical.
It seems not so much like light is coming from everywhere, but as though there is no light, but you can see anyway. There are no shadows, but it is dark when you close your eyes.
All of the doors with lit signs are near the box, but are not adjacent to each other.
You turn your attention to the device on your arm. It appears to be constructed from a solid piece of metal, aside from the gauge and button. The gauge is a series of LED bars, all of them lit. It appears not to have any way to remove it, unless that is the function of the button. It appears to be attached only to your sleeve, but it seems impossible to slide it up or down your arm.
