Your name is Eve. You are the girl on the right with the pretty blue eyes. Right now it is exactly midnight.

All your life you have felt distant from the world. As though you were waiting for the world, or the world was waiting for you. As though something important, something more, was supposed to happen. But for the most part, you've been bored.

You are allergic to sunlight. You have been all your life. As such, you are confined to your home during the day, and you have become nocturnal. You can't go to a normal school, you can't do normal things, your parents... parent, isn't even normal. Your father is an astronomer, and as such, he's rarely home at night. He won't be home for another few weeks.

Which brings you to tonight. Tonight, precisely at the stroke of midnight, things changed. You no longer felt content. It's as though your black and white life, for the first time ever, had just a tiny bit of color. Color you hunger for.

You find yourself sitting next to a childhood friend of yours, who visits you and watches the stars from your roof sometimes. But we'll meet him later, and he was just leaving. He has to get home before sunrise! And that leaves you with a few hours before the sun is up to explore.

You live in Washington State, in a city divided by mountains. On one side is a successful urban city with suburbs to match. On your side, only forests. And with the forest at your feet, friends to be found, and a few hours of precious night time left, you have a choice to make.

Sorry about the long update time, Radio was on vacation! She was nice enough to draw it during her time at a super-fun beach house. Thanks for all the suggestions in the mean time, it means a lot to me!

I'm still deciding what the character's relationship with the suggesters are, for now I'm going to act like suggestions are part of their internal monologue.

You pull on something warmer and start walking aimlessly around the woods. You've always wanted to find a cave or something, a home away from home where you can spend the day if you get caught out. No such luck so far.

You do like walking in the woods. The solitary time allows for a lot of deep thought, about all manner of strange subjects.

You quickly shake your head. You have the strangest thoughts!

Darren has already gone to bed! Computer games give you headaches, so you don't like playing alone. Maybe tomorrow though.

There's far too much light in the city to go there, even at night! Besides, Fred should be waking up soon.

How allergic are you to sunlight my dear?

Not just sunlight, all light, although sunlight is the worst. Light from stars or a computer screen is bearable, but you get headaches if you hang around them too long. Light from a bulb will give you a small rash and make you feel nauseous. Light through a window will make you dizzy and disoriented, along with the other symptoms. The dizziness and nauseousness don't go well together. Standing outside in the sun at noon would be a rather unpleasant experience! You've never done it though, you're always extra careful to get home before the sunrise.
