>Katia: Engage in random encounter on overworld map
(that's just what that last panel looks like to me)
Dangit, Katia! I wasn't trying to depress you, I was rooting for you to overcome those potentially impending troubles by staying on guard!![]()
Katia: move the "difficulty" slider from the far right to the far left it will make life much easier
>Some creative bandit battlemage: have invented a spell that acts like a landmine, and have cast it on some random part of the Kvatch road for some reason that will never be known, waiting for an individual with sufficiently bad luck to step on it.
...yeah that was just mean.
I would be delighted if I could just scrap this account and make a new one that doesn't have a stupid name. Sadly, there's a rule specifically stating I cannot. I could be happier about that.

Katia: Climb a tall tree to see if you can get a better look at the city.
The plateau Kvatch is situated on probably prevents you from seeing too much of the road ahead.
Katia: Soak in the moment, regard the large wood and iron gates of Kvatch with a sense of pride and accomplishment. Breathe in every scent pouring out of the city and set forth into the somewhat unknown. It's your life, you should grab it by the (obscenely large) ears and force it to go your way from now on. Or at least, that's the plan, anyway.

>Katia: Deliver that letter as quickly as possible. Taking a stroll around the city and having fun at the mages' guild can wait until you've finished your job.
Katia, before you do anything else, consider the date.
Avoid the individual wearing the red robe.

Katia:
Since our cautious words suit not your will,
Embrace thy doom - more weird than Galahad's.
Excelsior! Brave Khajiit, charge that hill
And boldly seize the bovine by the 'nads!
(But stay alert, please.)
(ETA: And retract your claws.)

"...Without stupidity, where would be the savor of superior understanding?" - Jack Vance
A Stray to Botaram: a puzzle of anger, loss and redemption.
Katia, take a closer, this time reasonable look on what Asotil just told you: he said that, and I quote, ahem "That citizen in a red robe looks to have the fire properly controlled."
I mean, does this ring any bells to you Katia? Who the Hell wears robes instead of any other clothing?... Oh, that's right,... mages. And what is this person doing? Controlling a fire. Mage+Control+Fire= WANT
It's only reasonable that you check on this... mysterious person (who is presumably a fire controlling mage just as you are), from a safe distance, and check wether your suspicions are right, and wether he/she is friendly or not. And if they are, voilá! You get a friend AND someone to teach you some new tricks! Neat huh? ;D
Katia: Ask the nice man for some grapes, the inn escapade only made you hungrier

>Katia ask lady for water breathing potions or where to find some because you could be slaughtering slaughterfish for quite some time, oh and don't rely on fire spells in water.
Ack, you have helped me catch an outdated link! The correct thread is here, sorry for the misdirection.
EDIT: link should be fixed now. If anyone's confused, it turns out the "visit the forum thread" link over the comment box when you were replying to another comment still went to this thread rather than the new one. We should all be thankful someone scouted that particular marsh for us.
