Our source is indeed meant to be Homestuck. I had understood pretty much all the events from Enter Name to Cascade took place in the same day, ignoring Dave's time shenanigans (and the flashbacks/flashforwards and suchwhat). Perhaps TV Tropes has misinformed me.
Wasn't it 24 hours just from Jack Ascend to Cascade? I think that we're looking at 32-ish hours minimum for an extremely abbreviated session. That's with some pretty extreme speedrunning with stuff like Fear No Anvil and Calledscratch available absurdly early because Sprite Dave brought back codes and Roxy-Mom using Maplehoof to get her Rose an absolutely absurd grist windfall.
On the other hand the Session 612 really took their time. Something like half of them started the game with endgame quality equipment*, but they took weeks. Probably frog breeding only took so long because they refused Echidna's price.
I suspect a normal successful game is in the 48-72 hour range.
* Equius, Aradia, and Sollux didn't use weapons. Vriska and Eridan had legendary weapons. Fefferi did alchemize her culling fork into the brainfork, but it did have legendary status and a funny name starting out. That John added a Ppopamatic Fluorite Octet to Zillyhoo didn't mean that Zillyhoo and the Fluorite Octet weren't already legendary equipment.
I mean... even in context! What could this possibly mean other than "there's going to be a foal in the apple family and I'm in a position to name it"? And, in turn, what could that possibly mean other than "I'm going to have a foal"? The fact that she and RD were supposed to go off and do something vaguely defined, with Twilight involved, just made things that much easier.
That may even be how it happened in the paradox future. And this could truly be her foal. I wonder how Apple Bloom will take being an aunt.
I am taking all of this hilarity in such a good way. Like, above post... Apple Bloom.. an aunt. She doesn't even have her cutie mark yet. Lol, get your cutie mark in being a good aunt... says alot about your family.

Rough response will be something like this.
Steam Account is triguy23. (Currently Away until some 'Conditions' are met. If you don't contact me at the mentioned locations, then see you all later!)
On the timespan of a session The kids session was so short because of the trolls helping and speedrunning them. The frog breeding only worked in that timeframe because of time travel shenanigans. The trolls session took about one month if I remember correctly.
The trolls' game was 600 hours. The reason the kids' was so much shorter is because Jack took the white king's scepter, which is what starts the Reckoning (which puts the game on a 24-hour clock).
>Big Mac: Question your sister on this matter.
>AJ: Tell your brother that time travel's involved.
>Big Mac: Be even more confused. Don't jump to conclusions just *yet*. Spy on your sister first.
The type of misunderstanding that can lead to sitcom shenanigans!
...Let those shenanigans happen?
>Story level up.
--> New title: Wacky RomCom
--> Laugh track improves: almost tolerable
--> Gain new ability: celebrity walk on
I doubt we'll work around to this -- but for the queue:
Big Macintosh: Try to talk to RD about AJ's new foal.
RD : Be flattered by Big Mac's flirting. Consider him in a new light.

I love the Tintin art. Where did you get it?

Given the lack of deadlines, AC may have been born in the ponysession. The 2nd run trolls (who we're used to) took 600 hours. Their less aggressive predecessors could have taken longer. I expect the long run games will be alluded to, instead of experienced.
I don't see us queuing suggestions like:
>Changing Season Montage: Go!
>Narrative: Wake me in a month, giving these ponies a chance to slog through their problems.
>Narrative: By a month, I meant when something started jumping. Why is Pinkie on fire?
This update contains one of the most egregious cartographic issues thus far, and I apologize for it. The problem stems from having used the Adventures in Ponyville backdrop for the character select earlier, which was noted as being "geographically implausible." Perhaps the biggest issue with the AiP backdrop is that it shows Sweet Apple Acres from the back, even though by all other accounts it is the front that is most easily accessible from the rest of Ponyville. So... take your pick of explanations:
The road in panel 2 secretly exists, despite receiving no canonical evidence.
Panel 1 actually shows the front of the barn, no matter how much it distinctly resembles the back of the barn.
>AJ: Get a move on already!
You start heading off towards town. You've got the console, so nopony's gonna make any sorta trouble with it, and you've got some secondhoof news for Twi and the rest of the gang besides. You think you'll keep the second two warnings to yourself for the time being, but it can't hurt to tell your friends that a girl from the future says Pinkie's game is inevitable.
"Applejack!" calls Big Mac from by the barn. You turn around, surprised as ever to hear him start a conversation.
"Yeah, Big Mac?"
"Be careful!"
Aww, now ain't that sweet of him. "Don't you worry none about me," you say to him. "But I really gotta get going; ol' Rainbow's probably getting awful impatient waiting for me by now."
You resume your journey, only to be interrupted again by the noise of something loud a'coming. There's a pegasus walking by -- name of Cloud Kicker, if you ain't mistaken, nice enough gal -- and it looks like she hears it too. You go check it out.

Is that... a taffy machine rolling up the road?
Cloud Kicker boggles vacantly at these shenanigans.

Reason: the taffy machine was at the wrong angle
> AJ: Buck the the Taffy Machine back the way it came from, like it was a pinball.
> Action/camera: Switch to some other pony, seconds before Applejack impacts the Taffy Machine.
> Cloud Kicker: Kick some clouds in the path of the machine as a cushion / safety net. With Rainbow and Scoots in it, it should be enchanted enough to not pass through it.
