P.S. She switches between sweet and tart, not sweet and sour. There are two or three pictures out there on the web that name her "Sweet Tart" instead of (more common fanon) "Sparkler" or (toy canon) "Amethyst Star," as if she doesn't have enough to be confused about already, so it's in reference to that. Honestly Sweet Tart would be a much more practical name for her, since it wouldn't invite confusion with this lady, but there's nothing to be done about that.

Oh, please. Transgenerational confusion is a thing that's been going on since at least Applejack, probably longer. Most of the popular fan-names for the S1 backgrounders were specifically from older ponies.

Ehh. There're a number of gem-based unicorns. It doesn't mean there's any more relation than between, say, Fluttershy and the G1 Butterscotch or Dancing Butterflies.

I wonder if Colgate / Bonbon are changelings... Colgate certainly would benefit from a having a "thing" with Twilight, and Bonbon is still technically a valid suspect if Pinkies song / Fake!Cadence behavior is considered, as well as having a "thing" with Lyra.

This is pretty obviously the Flutterwitch; regular changelings can shift shape but they don't seem to have the mind control magic.
We were the real Sparkler not that long ago, so Chrysalis must have stepped in on the way over here.
... But she said "I've asked about this before," so she's been at this for a while ... and she seemed to know Rarity. But why wouldn't she have just zapped her the first time? Chrysalis doesn't strike me as the polite type.

I can only suppose that the Flutterwitch has had changelings out digging up information on dreamers, but Rarity has been cagey about dreams, so Chrysalis personally is here to put the whammy on her.

I'm liking it so far, and I daresay that those vectors are surprisingly cannon through and throughout. Very, very impressive imo.

So far, pegasi get given their modi by other pegasi, unicorns make their own, and earth ponies haven't had anything specified yet. Oh goodness is that a pattern??

The sample size is pretty small. Perhaps, earth ponies derive theirs; their modus just shows up at a personally important moment, often associated with a cutie mark. It sort of fits: unicorns direct magic outward, shaping things; pegasi move things around. In some interpretations, earth pony magic strengthens what they do. Applejack decided that the bulk of her life would be spent with apples and the family farm; she became able to relate everything she carries to apples. Pinkie threw her first party; one of the party games could have felt right for a modus. The Cakes could have discovered theirs inside a meaningful baking project.

A princess needs a prince, and she's probably still looking for one... Makes sense she'd still be dreaming about "him" (AKA Somepony who isn't Blueblood) in addition to or as part of her Prospit cloud visions. Heck, She probably met the pony of her dreams, literally, in Prospit.

Speaking of which, these two got a design that would fit in with Derse/Prospit, if the "circus" motif is canon thing now.

As *Sigh* said, I've put some of the more "notable" panels up there already. If other people have done so, they've not been using the Hoofstuck tag and therefore I haven't noticed.

In response to your question: probably not at this point, because I've been cutting and pasting screencaptures for almost everything and I would feel bad about wasting too much of ponibooru's time with collages of other people's artwork. Also yeah the text=context issue. I hope to have switched over at least 75% to character vector art by the end of the act, and if I haven't by then, there'll likely be a pause in updating while I put together the resources to make that switch possible. Or, well, there'll probably be a pause regardless, but it'd be a longer one. Whenever such a switch happens, ponibooru might be a possibility; in the meantime, I feel most of the images don't really warrant it.

Mind, there are certainly a few that could go up there -- the Statue of Harmony is all my vector work, for instance -- but I've just never bothered. Uploading all of Hoofstuck, though, that would just be ridiculous. Understand there are almost three times as many panels here as in, say, Friendship is Dragons. Moonstuck can get away with it, but that's all original artwork and all the text seems to get included, so.



Songupdate is getting closer to done. It's definitely the longest ever, thanks in no small part to Prospit dreamers' little visions-of-elsewhere-in-space-and-time thing, and will include several new faces, because obviously what we really need is more characters. I might actually be enlisting someone to help on it (in a very specific capacity, so don't volunteer) if I can swing that. Stay "tuned." In the meantime, someone go read Parliament of Dreams and tell me if it's any good, because I tend to wait for stories to finish before reading them, but I keep getting tempted by this one since a) it's apparently about cutie marks, which is always fascinating, and b) it uses the prettiest character model.

I'm loving this adventure so far. Even the animations, as rough as they seem to be at times, are great! I can't wait for the new update you're making for this, and neither can my friend that I've shown. Nice way to pass the time in study hall.
