IM: No, I think I'll hold on just a teensy bit longer so the ground can stop being a douchebag and resume not spinning.

    Girard then falls over.

    On his face.

    IM2: By the way.

IM: Man, the construction of the new office-universe is advancing at plot speed ! Looks like there'll be at least 5 significant events that'll happen before it's ready. Or something else.

*Removed Improbable Grist. We don't know where it comes from.

TD : I'm... I'm not looking. Somebody get me my shades. Wait no sylladex still works, nevermind.
Narada : This... this is fascinating... everything's so fresh! Hopefully, this world will give me the secret to restoring myself... can anybody else look after Kira? I need to go see about a few things.
Brage : ...Okay, I'm done here. I'm just going to take Vegitosprite and leave, anybody got any problems with that? Call me.

IM: ...There any players in here yet?

IM2: Or are we just waiting for players to get in?

I say we skip ahead to at least a Medium entry. This Battlefield doesn't look prototyped at all. Look, you can see the edges over there!

TD : wait... if it's not prototyped... the only things here should be the kings. Where are they?

*Fixed a bug where prototyping a cat could cause various sideeffects, including, but not limited to : invisible objects when weilded by prototyped entities, unlimited increase of the tallness attribute, intense cravings for cheeseburgers, intense feeling of happiness, ability to hover without hovering-trait prototyping, tendancy to slide along long straight objects, intense craving for hugs and personal release from gravity.

IM: Good news and bad news: good news is that my new position has forced me to find a more efficent way of stopping the coffin.
Bad news; I can't find my testing equipment for my new class, also missing is 3 half-eaten jammy dodgers without tea, a swordcane of excellent quality, a portable supernova that might go off without anybody watching over it, 7 weapons of various quality and shapes which I cannot use and had planned to work on so they can become ultimate weapons before unleashing them into the game, and a fez. Fezzes are cool.
IM2: I'll look through my captchalogue and my portable office to find them now.
Just your average insane Videogame-, Manga- and of course Homestuck-geek here.

Re: SBURB Patch Notes II: The Code is Mightier than the Sword

    * Added the optional quest to rebuild the frog temple and build towns, castles and temples for the consorts or citizens of their kingdom. All of these quests are added to the session only if the players will complete them. The server-side snapshot bank will always get added.
    • There will be Creation Cards spread around the planets, that can be uploaded in a common server-side bank of objects for making houses and other buildings.
    • That common server-side bank of objects can also hold snapshots of objects from player's houses.
    • There will be areas that will be marked for edition once a boss-monster will be beaten. Server players will be able to access the frog temple's area, one area per planet and one for their palace on Prospit or Derse for edition. The player of a planet will get additional areas on his planet, one for a fortress and one for a temple, plus additional town areas.
    • Each of the Creation Card objects will have its functions described in their bank entry. Objects alchemited from one of the Creation Card object will retain their parent object's function and may provide an increased function, but the cost of improved-functionality objects will be high.
    • Objects coming from snapshots will provide bonuses for some activities when placed. They might also provide maluses to some other activites tough.
    • Scattered ruins in every buildable area will provide samples for the architecture.
    • The Frog Temple will be built on a meteor of the Veil. The consorts and kingdom's citizens will provide hints about its location and the nessessity of making it (Dersite will provide these hints in a negative way).
    • Creation Card items won't provide their function if placed in a player's house exept for some items that will be marked. Embassy items can be found on each planet, and will make the room if placed in a player's house or a zone of the area when placed in a town or palace spot also count as a town for the orignal planet's species.
    • Dersites and Prospitians can't dwell in the same town or palace. The palaces count as populated by the local kingdom's species.
    • The snapshot bank will always come with copies of already placed important devices, but will only be placeable if the player is supposed to have one and the old one is broken. Disks will always be freely available for all players once unlocked. Server disks will be unlocked when the last player of a session enters and closes the loop.

Where's Ani been? Good question. Xe's not going to answer it, is all. Thyme is hallucinogenic for xir species and used in ceremonies, that's why it's the scent of knowledge.

IM: No clue. Who wants to go down there and look?

The two Founders jump as the first prototyping turns the Battlefield into a full chessboard.

"So, double prototyping before entering. I think the first one was a squiddle plushie, the second one is a... fish?"

"No, looks more like a lizard to me. At least one of the prototypings has legs. Kid keeps unusual pets, that usually means they must be smart."

One of the white Pawns moves forward. It clicks into position. Then the Knight on the black side slides around, the pieces around the knight moving backwards to let it pass.

"We should probably get out of here, first-prototyping soldiers can't tell the difference between enemies and third parties."

"Good idea. I captcha'd the SS WTH Jr. and tricked it out with weaponry and other technology, so I should be fine. Let's go snooping."

With that, Daniel removes his Asteroid-based starfighter from his wallet modus. Parts of it have been reinforced with Metorite plating, the wings are now longer, and as well as the Rainboom Cannon, there is an assortment of projectile weaponry ranging from WW1 airplane rifles and EMP Grenade Launchers to Dubstep Guns and Green Quasar Missiles. He unlocks it with what appear to be modded car keys, causing the higher-front parts of it to fold out, revealing the chrome-and-turquoise-energy interior with two chairs. He clambers in.

"If anyone needs a lift, there's another seat."

    TD : Deal.

The Dungeoneer hops in. Brage skulks around after the black king, somehow going unnoticed.

    "Welcome aboard."

He helps TD up; hooves probably aren't the best for climbing.

"Right, we'll be on our way."

He inputs some co-ordinates, flips a few switches on the roof and shuts the top with his keys. A few interior lights come on. He smiles and pulls a lever on the dashboard. The engines start up with a fierce roar, and the craft slowly rises into the air before shooting off towards the first player's land at a few times the speed of sound.

Re: SBURB Patch Notes II: The Code is Mightier than the Sword

The SS WTH Jr. touches down quickly upon a planet of... baskets. A huge rickety woven-wood structure, which is built on the Temple template structure and no doubt contains ILLEGAL CONTRABAND, sits in the center of the clearing the Admins find. More often, the baskets hang on the branches of trees, wicker baskets swinging gently from trees that one can only hope are strong enough to support them.

Bats chitter around wildly, jumping from basket to basket and clicking away at each other in the manner of all Consorts. They pass around gears and springs and levers, though for what purpose only Skaia knows. Something about a Great Machine. A jet of steam issues from a particular basket, and the chatter explodes in intensity for a moment, dying away again after a while.

The player's House sits on top of a mountain not too far away, a rickety woven spiral ramp going all the way up to the top. The server player tosses a bed out the window. Upon release by the cursor the bed begins wildly falling down the mountain, crushing the ramp in several places and landing with a very loud thump in front of the startled village and the Admins.

"It's the prophecy! The one who brings solid wood will save us all!"

The bats are pointing up the mountain, ignoring the SS WTH Jr. on account of its no-temporal-disturbance fields. Who wants to come out?

Meanwhile, somewhere else in the medium, Mobius and Hadron would be dancing - this is a Session, after all - but they're actually waiting for a second Entrance to peek in upon... There!

Wait, whose planet was it again?

A ball of deep cerulean stone, lightly dusted with snow and ice, and covered in jagged rocks, cliffs and mountains, materialoses in the incisphere

On the land of Frost and Fury, the Bard of Ice (though he didn't know that), who had just shattered a cruxite windowpane was flipping out. Tricia did NOT warn him about this. The thing was, Daniel Kopton, at thirteen years of age as opposed to his alpha variation's 20s upon session entry, was no-where near as good at coping.

"WHAT THE GOGDAMN CRAP JUST HAPPENED!?!"

Re: SBURB Patch Notes II: The Code is Mightier than the Sword

Tricia yells back to him over audio chat.

"I don't know either, but someone who insists she is future me tells me that if you don't make sure everyone else goes along with it, we're all dead!"

Self-prototypings are so annoying about that. And Tricia's still just as devoted to an ideal as she was to Skaianet - but that ideal just so happens to be
knowledge, which... well. Might not really endear her to the adults that unbeknownst to all are already inside the session.

    ----

Hadron prods Mobius. "Definitely a Prospit dreamer. You talk to him. See if you can get him to calm down."

Mobius nods, and climbs in the windows of the child's basement.
