and I'm like 10% into CBB. It'll be a while.

CalamityCons has stepped up as our official album covverer for now, but if the track output ends up being more than CC can handle we could use a second. And we definitely need banners for promotion and such.

If you need any help for anything, I can play keyboard, ukulele (a lot cooler than you might think), trumpet, and ocarina (lol) and I have GarageBand and Audacity. In addition, I can sing pretty well and can do a good voice for most of the male trolls (specifically Karkat and Gamzee) although I haven't tried singing as them. I'd be glad to help with some of this.

What I'm thinking for THRESHECUTE is a lead guitar remix of Showdown with drums and vocals. Also if I might propose a track, perhaps a song called She Put You In The Friend Zone which would be like sad piano music but at the very end it gois into an ominous guitar chord. That, due to its climactic nature, woul probably be the last track.

Nexev, do you have any clips of a singing Karkat voice?

I really don't have music instrementals so non yet but I will try something.

My singing might suck but i don't think karkat has that great a singing voice either.

I can't synthesize a lead guitar particularly well, nor can I do drums, so I may need someone else onthat, but ere are ideas for tracks. Also for the Karkat voice since singing with him is literally awful, I just use my normal voice. I can sing as Eridan (alright) though, and maybe Sollux and Tavros.

Hate Playa: Just kind of a generic beat, like Beatdown but not as fast-paced. Nothing special.
<Eridan Nepeta> I suggest this be called Prince and Purrincess, or Purrince and Princess (whichever works) and have it maybe be something like Daft Punk's Nightvision in terms of mood.
Bitches Lovve Wwhales: Sung by Seahorsedad. MAKE IT SHOWTUNEY.
Jhonen's theme: Showtime (Piano Refrain) done on organ. (Churchy.)
Vriska Terezi Dualscar thing: I might call this either 1. A Roll of the Dice, 2. Ghost of a Hope, or 3. Three Dice, Three Souls. I'd love to take this one if I had the help of a good guitarist, because I was thinking like dueling guitar vs. organ vs. harpsichord.
I Didn't Want to Be Your God: A solo of vocals and maybe acoustic guitar or piano.
This Is a Flashback: Take whatever song they use from Les Mis and remix it with Karkat, Terezi and Vriska vocals.

I could take Prince and Purrincess, Jhonen's theme, Ghost of a Hope, and the Sufferer song. If there's any room for Surrogian Pie (The Day I Almost Died) here, Alrieice and I are already planning to record that too.

Thinking maybe Eridan and Nep's track should be Knight and Purrincess but I like that angle. I'll put you up for those four. Surrogian Pie would make a good bonus track.

As far as vocals go: in a musical, characters ALWAYS can sing. So ideally I'd rather have the characters singing well, even if it doesnt make sense for them in-universe. But we'll see what we get.

Fluorite Misfortune sounds like a really good name. Also if Jhonen's Theme can have some eeeeeeeeeeeeeeery instruments or leitmotif (like harlequin or something) I would love you forever. Also I would love to be Sollux for the singing parts.

Basically, yeah! Ideally we want it to sound as much like the character as possible without sacrificing quality.
Which reminds me: for Eridan's accent, let's have him pronounce vv as w and ww ALSO as w. the double w pronunciations I've heard in the VA thread really sound weird to me.

If I may make a polite suggestion? Maybe don't make a track list without people to make the tracks.

I think it'd probably be better to get musicians who are interested in making songs THEY want to make for the album, rather than hand them a list of songs and say "do one of these."

So maybe something like "it'd be cool to have somebody do songs on X, Y, and Z topics, but no pressure."

And leave the actual song-making to the people who actually make songs.

... Just an idea.

No. No British accent for Eridan on my watch. I don't really like it when people give Eridan overpowering accents. Octopimp's voice for Eridan is perfect to me though, and I can deal with no double-w's, but I'm against Eridan getting a British Accent.

Also at some point I'm going to convince myself that I can sing as Sollux, but I don't know what to make him sing.

EDIT: Wait, you like Octopimp's voice but you don't like him having British actions? Your statement is clearly self-contradictory.

We need to decide whether he does or doesn't have an accent. I was gonna try to do it like Octopimp anyway.
