Salcie: Feed plant
You would do that, but unfortunately, that flytrap has not been eating anything in a while. You've done everything you could think of to salvage it, but admittedly, you don't have much hope for it left. It's probably going to wither and die soon. It's a bummer, but it can't be helped.

That is always the best solution.

Are the titles of my thread and yours that hard to tell apart >:?
If you want I could add something to my title instead of you then.
EDIT: Well I've changed my one's title. So if you want too you could change yours back now and it wouldn't get confused anymore.

Oh, ok.
Salcie: Check out strife deck while you're at it
Certainly!
Bootkind is the only specibus you have, but up until now it's all you've really needed, and it has served you very well. These boots have seen quite a bit of use and they're still in good shape. And since you're tall, you have some pretty long legs. You have plenty of room for good muscle, and you've managed to stay fit through this fighting style. Not that you fight a whole lot, but when wild beasts get too close to your plants, you know how to keep them away.

Why can't I stop laughing at the imagery of somebody kicking some animal in the face for getting too close to a pumpkin?
Salcie: Retrieve other arm from boot
Well, uh, you can't do that. Not only because there's only your legs in your boots but because you don't have another arm. Not anymore.
It's already been a few sweeps since it happened, but you lost your right arm in an accident. It has made nightly life difficult, and you still feel phantom pains from time to time, but with the help of your lusus, you've managed to adapt to life with one arm. There have been other repercussions, but you've mostly gotten over them. Mostly.
Regardless of how well you've adapted, though, you could very well be culled for this handicap if it were to be found out. This is partially why you don't often leave your hive, much less your forest.

Surely there are things you can do on the computer that can be done with only one hand.

Salcie: Consider getting a prosthetic arm
You've thought about it before, to be honest. A prosthetic would make life a whole lot easier, but there are issues you can't seem to turn around. One is the fact that you're overall used to your handicap and the idea of a prosthetic sounds... really unnatural to you. Another is that getting one would require having one made by someone.
Meaning you'd have to go out of your way to ask someone about it, meaning interaction. And that's just too scary.
On another note, with the smell of apples baking wafting into your respiteblock, you now know where your lusus is. She really can't tear herself away from those cooking appliances, that one.
