Post-game Awards
Sruixan
--Thrown Voice - Arguably toss down more words outside the thread than in.
--Talking Up a Storm in a Teacup - Overthink and overcomplicate the setup way beyond the reality.
--Persistence - For sticking with this game even over the three-month hump.
ComiQ
--Misplaced Apology - Receive mod regrets that you're probably dying the same night you replace in. Turn out this wasn't the case.
--Shadows Don't Wear Pants - claim for no discernibly good reason D2, exposing another town non-vanilla in the process.
--Ingrate In-law - Have the godfather of the opposing mafia family fakeclaim cop in an attempt to get you, the only investigator, lynched.
--Once More For Luck - Track the kooky-roled player a second night, to much modly head-scratching.
GX
--Hustler - Be consistently first off the mark to get your night action in.
--Priority-Obliging - Spare the mod a roleblocked-tempmasonner-based headache with your punctual night actions.
--Serendipshittery - Perform blocks Nights 2 3, and 4 which, flavourwise, should probably have gotten you recruited if the mod weren't a hardarse.
--Incompetent - Fail to stop any night actions over the course of the game.
--Cognitive Disconnect - Operate entirely out of sync with your scumteam all game.
--Persistence - For sticking with this game even over the three-month hump.
Dragon Fogel
--Hopeless Romantic - Lament the groom's N1 death and the fact we can't end the game with a resumed wedding.
--Attention Mr. Dini, This is Your Final Boarding Call - Tell a player to notice the prior mod declaration - the one the player himself requested in his QT.
--Persistence - For sticking with this game even over the three-month hump.
--Cassandra DiFronzo - exercise perfect presience on the scum team and "SK"s identity, but too late for anyone to heed your words. Earn a character-survival for your efforts, though.
imperviousScofflaw
--Momma's Boy - Invoke indignation on a scum member's part when they learn their hitman killed the wrong newlywed.
--BUT HOW - Ask the co-mod how on earth they knew his mason bride was a survivor.
Nialaris
--Meet the Family - Lead the charge to find out what assorted people's flavours are.
--Every Bride For Herself - Lose your chance at being a pro-town survivor when your hubby dies N1.
--Hot to Trot - Vote for scum with your first replacepost in the game.
--Abhorred and Ignored - Claim DaySK so town won't lynch you over scum, and scum won't shoot you for the next day's easy lynching.
Palamedes
--Iconography - Uphold the religious-object motif with your team's kill flavour.
--Dude, Where's My Traitor? - Impress the mod with your early correct scum traitor guess, then totally lose track of them.
--Hammy Godmother - Really play the part you're given in scumchat.
--Persistence - For sticking with this game even over the three-month hump.
--On the Bright Side - Waste your amnesiakill on a vanilla, but do it on the same night the hitman was roleblocked.
--A Plague on Just One House - Exterminate the Roselli family line, when your initial goal was to assassinate your DiFronzo daughter-in-law. Leave her family mostly-unscathed.
YD12K
--First Do No Harm - Protect friends and enemies alike by giving up yourself for the first kill.
--Crack Shot - Get the first randavote on scum.
--Quack Shot - Pick the wrong family responsible for the murders.
Mirdini
--Persistence - For sticking with this game even over the three-month hump.
--Chalk and Cheese - Be polar opposites in alignment with your in-game wife.
--EAT YOUR WORDS - Following on from the above, for post #347.
--Raisins - Leave the mod swearing vehemently that never again will traitors not count for overrun at MYLO/LYLO.
--All Crashing Down - Have all the antitown factions (including the nonexistent ones) accidentally conspire to your demise.
--What It Says On the Tin - Have your bulletproof stop a literal bullet.
Phynicxs/Seedy
--Fuck the Police - Get a bit too much into roleplaying, raise a few eyebrows.
--Non-sequitous exit - Request replacement on grounds which made next to no sense.
--Gagged - True to your flavour, find yourself unable to kick up a serious ruckus while the Rosellis rule the thread.
--On Puppet Strings - Be an unwitting and unprovoked flavour-only killer for a lynch, because the mod apparently hates you.
curiousCat
--Mess-up-enger - Cause the most headaches, wine, and ludicrous QT speculation with your innocuous role.
--Persistence - For sticking with this game even over the three-month hump.
--The Crowd Has Spoken - Attract the only hammered lynch in the game. Dini doesn't count, that was a scum bumrush.
--Lousy Reception - Have your comms role experience a communications breakdown with your impending lynch.
Tea
--Hysterical Dame - Receive a subtle prod in a night results PM that you're the more-than-capable wife of a mafia godfather, and that you should pull yourself together.
--Neighquius - Dini assumes you're one flavour-clear. You think you're a totally different one. Your Roselli scum counterpart argues, no, you're not.
--<Redacted Because What> - Leave the mod wondering when the hell she gave Rosetta's mother roleinfo to suspect her.
Drakenforge
--Player - Use your oneshot to hook up with the maid of honour.
--Persistence - For sticking with this game even over the three-month hump.
--Famous Last Words - Correctly foresaw Scum Sruix, a mod-irking slowdown, and a public routing of Oz and Sollie with his final post before dying.
OztheWizard
--Venditt'nt - Fail to enact your character's revenge fantasies by hitting everyone except a Roselli. Michael don't count.
--Hypermiller - Be victim of the one piece of mod bastardry in the game. Cause all the headaches the mod wished for.
--What Do-tionals - Cause mod panic when your conditional kill crashes into a scum hammerrush.
--Unfor-shoot-nate - Consign the town to defeat where a no kill would've outed the entire scum team for a possibly-salvageable D5.
Dragonpaul99
--Skillful Inaction - Switch the scum kill to the one-shot on the night you're roleblocked.
--Shouting Down a Hurricane - Keep maintaining, despite wild speculation from scumbuddies and others, that the setup is far simpler than everyone's suggesting.
--Atonement - Rain a golden shower of forgiveness upon a bunch of players.
--Ungunned Smugzer - Smug it up in-thread at effective game over after the daykiller goes down in the night.
DPB
--Mere Weeks From Retirement - Vanish from the mafia community after your Maftrimony death.
Wojjan/Seastorm
--Hebroic Sacrifice - Trick the scum into thinking you're the vigilante brother, playing your role perfectly.
--Dishonour Before Death(chat) - Opt to forsake deadchat for the chance to puzzle out the game for yourself.
--In Again, Out Again - Replace in only to promptly eat NK due to your predecessor's claims attracting scum.
Acionyx
--Consolation Prize - Talk the mod down when worries about MYLO/LYLO or misleading the players arise in the mod's head.
So i think that in this one game I just sort of lived out all of my fantasies, that was cool.
-Lynched mirdini for no reason
-won as survivor at lylo/mylo
-go mad from power
-not kill dad
-still fuck up the mafia's plans
-strike out as a STRONG FEMALE CHARACTER
great game everyone! :>
And that's a wrap! It was a fun game, and will be one of the last I play; it wasn't a bad note to go out on, even if I lost.
(In-character: Thanks for letting me get out of there, Sis.)
Yeah I honest-to-god wondered what the hell you were thinking.
I mean there was going to be an unspoken conditional that if you blocked the scum nightkill you'd be recruited, but that never eventuated.
Oh yeah
Fogel did lose as overrun town, however his character survives by dint of being a sharp-as-all-hell badass and guessing the entire scum team.
Also yes so many Strong Female Characters, although now I wish I'd decked Rosetta out with a shotgun for the finale. Ah well.
--Mess-up-enger - Cause the most headaches, wine, and ludicrous QT speculation with your innocuous role.
oopsie
Your chumhandle is curiousCat and you are never, ever sarcastic.
Well I could've mentioned your awful townplay too but that just seemed like salt in the wounds, so we'll just stick to the role-relevant stuff.
Do I ever have truly good townplay ever

Other tidbits:
Lynchecutions consisted of someone picked from a hat D1, similar scenario D2, Seedy/John DiFronzo smashing Cat's face in D3, and probably-Ferriola D4.
Dini is thus absolved of killing his own idiot son in a brutal rage. Pala done jumped to conclusions there.
Michael Gosetti is a bigger bamf than half the town, and he didn't even exist. Naming credit goes to Tea.
Consoling credits go to Aci after I basically screamed in his face "OH GOD CONDITIONAL VIG AND HAMMER WHAT DO". I thought for a good couple minutes "should I reset the votals or something and mercilessly troll scum after they all outed". Really really tempting.
Andrew Spilotro was the doorman, who had done such a shitty job at gun security as mentioned in the D2 vig.
Joey Calabrese and Andrew Spilotro are my favourite characters, even though Andrew's a bit of a lunatic as established. Shame they had to die. Victor Ascott wasn't gonna be a consiglere until I learnt what a consiglere actually was.
The core scum team hates each other's guts. Both of them are freaked out by Zizzo, Maria thinks Ferriola's an incompetent twit, Ferriola thinks Maria's a stuck-up madbitch. Zizzo just doesn't like anyone. It's just a big happy family of acrimoniousness with GX scratching at the door whining to be let in. If he was targeted for any night kill, Sruixan's oracling, or like I said if he stopped the kill he would've been recruited. Scum were paranoid from early-game that there was a second scum team, which was why I couldn't discount player derp extending the day. By the time town didn't have numbers on their own to push a lynch, I guess they were sort of buggered though.
Maria's amnesiakill would have done nothing if it took Dini's first life, but in the event she hit the dayvig (as they were attempting to do the night they killed Wojj/Seastorm) it would've become a non-dayend caber instead of a dayvig.
Palamedes/Dini is now a canon OTP, Sruixan/Sollie optional if it's between two consenting adults
E: All the names were mixed and matched from various Wikipedia resources about the American Mafia, mostly bouncing off the Chicago Outfit. The Roselli clan was named after this dude, the Spilotro brothers after him, and the DiFronzos after John DiFronzo himself. Lombardo is DiFronzo's associate.
Obviously, all resemblances to persons fictional, real, or operating under an alias are strictly coincidental.

Man I loved my flavour-incompetant scumteam. Also my family.
Shame the latter had to die, and I still didn't off that DiFronzo bitch. One day she'll get hers.
This was a sweet game Schaz, hiatus or no. I'm glad I stuck around to see the end of it.
Well played Mafia. Well played.
@Schaz: Flavor was awesome. Also not resetting the votes after my conditional activated was a good call. Votes weren't reset after the previous kills, so resetting them then would have been unfair.
And to those thinking they played their role wrong: hey, at least you didn't act as a bad day SK!
In case anyone is somehow interested, I made myself a QT so as to make iPad-mafia easier. It contains very little of any value.
That really was an absolutely marvellous game, and I'm not saying that just because my faction won. I'm tempted to say it wasn't a mafia win but a town loss, yet that would be far too facetious given how all I contributed was the occasional crude semblance of a post and several billion scumchat words. And come to think of it, a lot of what contributed to our victory was sheer chance; things like us convincing ourselves that Wojj had to be the dayvig and thus preventing our kill from getting blocked N2, or Oz's crack at killing Mirdini preventing our speedlynch from going tits up...
(definitely behind the Pala/Dini OTP 'cause damn Pala the way you played to your flavour in scumchat was brilliant)
Gene, I got a bit miffed that even in the final night we couldn't place our traitor and the killer between you and Oz, but with much clearer hindsight you were a pretty useful traitor... not in terms of your roleblock targets, mind, but heh, can't win 'em all...
...and that's about it for the moment. Now, if you'll excuse me, I've apparently got an exam tomorrow morning... *shrugs*
[12:39:21] Sruixan: But I'm not a person.
[12:39:23] Sruixan: I'm a cicada.
Oh, derp, now I realise we could have pegged you last night. I'd already posited that the traitor had a power because of Schaz's interesting wording when asked about recruitment methods... then on D3 I guessed you had a power role through what you said to the recently claimed Mirdini... pfft.
(also pegged Drak as temp-masoner, which I'll be proud of, but really honestly thought Woffles was dayvig, which I won't... well played, Wojj, well played...)
[12:39:21] Sruixan: But I'm not a person.
[12:39:23] Sruixan: I'm a cicada.
Yeah I gotta agree with Sruix here, this felt like a pretty hollow win. I had Oz pegged as traitor the entire game and got to basically coast due to Shika's pro play and half the town acting as a giant scummy smokescreen. We mostly just got lucky that all our fuckups weren't nearly as debilitating, and even ended up working to our advantage a couple of times. (Who would have thought that anything bad could have possibly come from having the entire scumteam reveal themselves when it wasn't even MYLO?????????)
Congrats again to Fogel for his well deserved MVP status, and thanks for the great flavor Schazer.
Yeah, true enough (man I'm loving how perfectly that roleblock fit into our kill flavour).
Though we probably still would have been fine-ish if we had just lynched Mirdini, as it would have been 4 scum on 3 town/1 3p with no daykiller, assuming we still hit Oz. At least Solaris had promised to help us over town :P
Things I will never forget (for a while anyways):
- Mirdini making us realize that we could quicklynch him
- Worrying about Oz shooting me (since I thought he was the dayvig) just because of our hatemance
- Panicking at how uncannily accurate Fogel was ALL THE TIME.
- fantastic flavour in general
- thinking that I was getting killed during that conditional (where Oz shot Mirdini).
And Oz, don't worry. I was a pretty godawful dayvig too when I got the chance (and an even worse daySK).
Whats a Funvendo Dual-Screen?
A good game, everyone, i enjoyed it a lot (one of the very few games i watched very avidly from the sidelines despite having died rather early - i tend to not pay as much attention in games i am dead in). Honestly, i'm glad solly won, i was rooting for him in the end :V
Also, Oz: Waddafuk.![]()
Schazer, I wanted to cop CC twice because I wanted to make sure it wasn't a result of weird roleblocking, or anything temporary. I wanted to make sure that CC literally was that weird, and it wasn't something out of the ordinary.
