I'll tumbl for ya
Hey, how ya doin? I'll leave these here.
CD: Don't look at the explosion.
Well, you can't anyway - the bomb hasn't gone off yet - but you decide to try and look badass regardless.
You succeed magnificently.

I know I'm late, but how could I let this go by without nominating it. I hereby nom this image for its smooth, masterful animation, its faithfulness to the artstyle of the original show, and for being exactly fitting for the original character's trollish nature.
Also, Ripcord, yours is amazing too.
The 'What Now' meme thing made it to Equestria Daily, the number one My Little Pony fansite out there.
I think this possibly earns PlaceHolder an automatic best in thread?
HB: Hail the cab.
You're trying! It's hard to do it in such a busy place, though.
Even so, your spirits remain high.

Alright, yeah, that was stupid of me to suggest because "major impact outside of thread" does nothing to equal "automatic merit inside thread."
However, as to the rest...I hope that all who think this image somehow should be disqualified from the BoT can perhaps click here to go to the arguments thread, please? The relevant post is only two downwards from the post this links to.
So then we'll go the long way into BoT. I nominate this image first of all because it is obvious how much effort went into it, and I appreciate that. Secondly, I nominate it because it is well-crafted as well as being effortful as opposed to effortless - it stays true to the original meme and concept while still looking like something out of the show which it strives to emulate.
Even the hair bounce is right!
(This is at least the second nomination, BTW. Just in case someone else missed AnotherHomestuckUsername's post up there.)
ashdenej, your Sunshine Crew manips really are making my day here. The base manips are good, the captions are great, and the settings really seal the deal.
... hell, that seems like reason enough. I'd like to nominate this post for best of thread.
Edit: Geez, there's another one up there now. This just keep getting better.
