So, whutsurnaym and I are fixing together a project. It is a voice acting project. We are taking all the lines in Portal 2, replacing the characters with Homestuck ones, and fixing lines as needed. This is who we have cast.

We have a "priority list" for Cast at the moment. What this means is that if someone is accepted on the aforementioned list, they are on the top "priority" (get it?) and if no one can do better, then they are accepted. No ones on the list so there is no deadline.

You may be thinking, "But Korporal Kael, I don't like the people you chose! I wanted to be in this project, and I want to hear my voice!"

Well, you can! If you follow these steps.

In your folder for Portal 2: ProgramFiles/Steam/steamapps/common/portal2/portal2,
use GCFScape (free download) to extract the SOUND folder from the pak01_dir VPK file. (make sure you copy this file to back it up, or you'll have to reinstall!)
Locate the lines you want to replace (they sould be in the folder vo), and record your self, making sure you do it one line at a time, and shorter/the same length than the actual line file, or the game will cut it off. (make sure that line you record is an mp3, and rewrite it as a .wav, do NOT save it as .WAV) and make a folder in ProgramFiles/Steam/steamapps/common/portal2/portal2/sound
called vo, then make a folder for the character you replace the sounds for (exactly to the letter of the original file), and place your line(s) you recordedin that folder, naming it TO THE LETTER exactly the name of the original file. If the mod has already been installed, then simply replace the files we gave you. If you have the vpk we should have given you as well, then you are fine.

Of course, there might be a TREMENDOUSLY easier way of doing this, but we havent figured it out. Nonetheless, stay tuned, everything I said might be wrong and I might have screwed you up.

Nonetheless, make sure you read the link i gave you for extra steps and the like.

So, for the tl;dr

It's a project: a mod that puts homestuck voices into Portal 2, allowing you to hear Karkat swear in your ears as you solve tests.

Most likely a GlaDOS voice, but thats mostly up to the auditioner. I have no idea how to make the voice.(technology wise, im not voicing a girl) So if one person sounds a lot better without the tech voice than the other with the tech voice, we'll go with the more talented one. We'll obviously try to add the tech sounds, but if it sounds bad, (i doubt it), then no.

God i ramble on forever. Sorry if i confused you.
EDIT: I'm working on some lines right now. I want to get at least 100 lines of GlaDOS done before tonight, ill post it then. No guarantees.

I think this is a good idea too, im just not working on that atm. Stil trudging slowly through GlaDOS.

...No confirmations yet, but im not really sure about that one. I'll ask whutsurnaym, but i think my personal preference is affecting my thoughts on that one.

It basically alters the pitch and allows you to make it flat if you want, so it sounds like the voice has no tone/emotion/whatever.
