Well, the battle sprites will basically be the overworld sprites for the PCs. Unless you're talking about enemy sprites, which are idle, so we'll only need one sprite of each enemy.

Speaking of which, for the demo, we'll only need roughly 3/4 enemy sprites: IMP (we already have that), BAT, and we'll have to make up 2 more enemies to go along with it, perhaps FROGS?

So maybe We can have Snakes, runaway Lusus, and/or crows?

And there would be several different types of Lusus, appearing in different areas. Maybe even the first boss could be a runaway lusus. Something like that white whale that Eridan killed the first time he was shown.

I was thinking the first boss should be a lusus too. But there probably wont be any occasion to make a whale boss, since none of the level on Alternia will happen near water. I was thinking a spider lusus could make a good first boss. Not a big one like Vriska had, something the size of Porky's mecha spider thingy at the end of Earthbound.

The part with Aradia and Sollux I talked about before is only going to have two enemies: a male zombie troll and a female one. And the boss will be a musclebeast. I should write about that part of the game soon.

Actually, I will try to continue writing the script, to get a better idea of what kind of pesterlog will need to be written and what ressource will need to be worked on first.

Also, I totally forgot: Lookatroopa, that recuperacoon sprite is looking good. I had some problem placing it in the room since it wasn't at the same angle as the other wall, but I ended up putting it in a corner.

This sounds like fun, and I would love to lend a little support if I can. I am very good with small sprites, so maybe I can help you with some of the enemies? I'll try to draw some mockups today in my free time. The only possible problem I can foresee in the future would be conflicts with Sburb and/or if I get a job, but I will most likely be playing a small enough part that it won't be a huge deal.

Hrm... just a suggestion for Karkat's maybe you could try having Crabdad be the "tutorial" boss or something? Make it just another one of the fights that he constantly has with him.

It's not really going to be a tutorial, but it's still an easy boss to learn to basic. I really want the game to start with Aradia because it parallel Earthbound and if I recall correctly the Nepetaquest guys are going to make crabdad the first boss of their game. But beside from that I think you listed everything we need.

Also, darkDetective you could always help by doing sprite for the land. Things I probably wont need right now, but will get useful later. Like sugar cube related things, or teapot or trees or whatever. I don't really know, I'm not good at plannig things far in advance.

Well we don't have a lot of things except for that imp sprite(wait unless I forgot something?), but I guess I could say the sprite should be similar in style to Earthbound(look at the In-Battle Enemies section here), only a little more simple(because underling and lusus are usually drawn in one color).
