    She is just so cute! I like this spin on her situation. But at the same time, I remember that she was characterized early on as constantly repentant for some horrible horrible thing that she had done. This is a perspective which makes me quite curious as to what will happen to her.

    I don't want to see this adorable innocent child hurt!

    Also, IDEA: Jade is highly social and has a lot of friends in the area surrounding her suburban home. Her guilt stems from the fact that she could not save any of them. Her last look at Earth was seeing a childhood friend leave his home and look up to the sky at the meteor preparing to decimate their neighborhood.

    Unfortunately to implement this one would be required to introduce an entirely original character for the sole purpose of getting crushed by a meteor. He'd need to be developed enough that the readers have at least an adequate amount of FEELINGS when they see him die. Which is probably more trouble than it is worth and I would assume that Calamity's already got some ideas as to the source of Jade's guilt.
