it is a complex cliche. If the character insists that they are gay, or the other characters insist that they are not, they ultimately end up to just be going through a phase. In this case, it seems like one of theses cases where she will indeed turn out to be gay. Okay, new convo, why was coyote so adamant about Anne not telling anybody in the forest about his tooth?

yeah, i wanted to bring that up, but i already came to the conclusion that coyote could not ensure annie's safety in the forest/jungle if they knew that she had gotten a gift from coyote, and wasn't somebody like ysengrin or renardine

i mean they already effin hate humans and the only thing holding them back is coyote, so it would be hella shit crazy if they found out

All the arguments that "Kat is gay!" feel a bit iffy, given that she (a) had a boyfriend (to whom she was very much attracted!), and (b) has a long-standing crush on Mr. Eglamore.

Bi, I'll give you as a 'maybe', but I'm inclined to wait and see.

For now, all we can say for sure is that she's feeling extremely insecure about her sexuality. (And has been for a while, starting in her next appearance after the Paz Incident.) Does that mean she's actually interested in girls? Maybe, maybe not. But it is hilarious.

And now that she's older (and because someone thought she was into girls), she just became self-conscious about it. I mean, there are kids who do things other people would consider embarrassing if they were a bit older. Some kids don't realize that until it's pointed out to them, and if it bothers them, they try to change.
