    Magic Exile: Press @ to Exit.



    In Magic Exile, you play the role of brave settlers, who have been banished to the twisted continent of Pundora for one reason:
    being born with the power to use magic. But you will all show them! You will make the best nation ever.

    If you survive, that is.

    What do you have to do to join? Fill out this form:


    Name: What is your name?
    Colour: What colour is your character?
    5 points distributed in Strength, Intelligence and Dexterity. (you have 10 in each stat by default)
    Skills: Three mundane things you are good at.
    One terrible flaw.
    5 personal equipment: weapons, toolkits, kittens, etc

    Most importantly:
    !!!MAGIC!!!

    All of you will have a unique form of magic.
    A magical style is like this:
    Name: What is it called? (examples: firestarting, necrocodilemancy, Stock Market)
    Focus: What do you use to channel your powers? (examples: Wand, drinking weird mushroom soups, wait until the STARS ARE RIGHT)
    Profile(s): What is the general theme of the magic? (example: weather control, illusions, turnin onion into small but vile minions)

    NOTE: The harder the focus is to use, the easier it is to use a spell. Also, the stat used for casting it depends on the focus.

    You all start with the following weak spell: Detect Magic. It causes small sparks to fly if an object is magical.
    However, you will get to develop spells soon!

    Seven of you will be chosen to enter Pundora, for glory! Be warned: the seven of you will have to act as one. Team work is outmost important. Or you will not survive.
    Not first come first serve.

    There are ways to get into the game after it started.

    And I might need helper GMs to control monsters/NPC events sometimes, and helping to organize things, but this is unsure.

    The world is pseudomedieval.

    Dexterity: 11
    Skills: Tactics (skilled at analyzing a certian situation and coming up with the best case scenario), Directions (an extension of his magic, he knows exactly where he is on this planet, due to studying star maps so much), Patience (will wait if necessary, and will never get angry or impatient).
    Flaw: He is a loner, and he is really bad with people. Expect awkward conversations EVERYWHERE with this guy.
    5 personal equipment: Pen and Paper, Telescope, Rapier, Magical Tomes, and a necklace that means a lot to him (it may have a mysterious power in it).
    Physical appearance: Is ambiguously brown, rather young, and of average build. Has navy blue robes with a cosmic motif.

    A magical style is like this:
    Name: Cosmic Rave
    Focus: Tattoos. Really cool tattoos, that are drawn like a 15th century astrological star map. They glow when magic is in use. To use them, however, he has to focus on all of his tattoos, as well as the stars of the sky. It's why he spends so much time studying his Tomes, which has all the star maps and alignments. Also, his concentration cannot be disturbed. Works best when someone's backing him up.
    Profile(s): Control over Gravity. This can be intensifying gravity in one area, or removing gravity in my area, or making a black hole, or even a singularity. Powerful magic, but takes time to set up.

    Using the same thing as a focus as the things you are summoning might have strange results. Like when you summon a cake using a cake, the original cake might disappear...

    Focus: She takes the many colorful rings on her person and then she says/sings/whispers at a certain pitch in order spellcast.
    Profile: She can create magical tentacles of varying size that can manipulate and lightly posses objects, creatures, or the nature around her. Said tentacles can also turn into small containers that could possibly hold things as long as she is saying/singing/whatever. Depending on how she sings and what rings touch they could probably do quite a bit more than just grab or move things, such as burn or shock, but the ultimate caveat is that she has to focus the note as long as the spell remains intact.

    Focus: Water, Fertile Dirt and Patience, in other words, plant some seeds, nurture them and wait for your animated vegetables to rise.
    Profile(s): In simple words: Summoning. Starts off with basic things to grow, like Tomato Demon Bodyguards. These animated crops can do a various amount of things, from fighting, building, healing, ect, it really depends on the crop.

    Profile: Focuses on healing...or hurting others. To Knox, blood takes on a physical form that can manipulated in many ways. For example the blood can be instantly solidified to block a wound, or it can be sent towards an enemy at high speed.

    Once in a blue moon, (by “once in a blue moon”, I mean very frequently) weird things happen to him. Sometimes hindering, sometimes ridiculous. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. It doesn’t kill him, but it’s ALWAYS FREAKING INCONVENIENT (he really hates that).

    Kick around karma, corral in chance, fight with fortune, basically dick around with destiny. Divinity magicians can alter and warp probability of their surroundings, reaping in the good deeds where whimsical fate cannot give otherwise. Be warned, though this ancient sect of magic has a extreme cost. Not surprisingly, diviners do not live very long lives (but they do have amusing deaths).

    Focus: Guiding the actions of others. In other words, when others are doing as he wants them to his magic works best. He can't control what they do, just make them do it faster and more competently.
    Profile(s): Basically the aim of Max's magic is to make others more efficiently carry out his plans. His magic has a considerable reach but requires that he enter a trance in order to begin it, which his incense helps him do quicker. Once in the trance his consciousness is expanded but his imagination takes a backseat, so he has to decide what to influence before he starts the trance. If they aren't doing what he thinks they are then his efforts are wasted.

    Skills: Can track things well, is very good at creating items (since this is his magic) and is an excellent fighter.
    He is very scatterbrained so he forgets things and can be distracted easier then ot...oh look shiny.

    Focus: focuses using his brain, however he must be very focused and the object could fail/turn into something else/explode
    Profile(s): He can create any non living item (swords rocks etc) with his mind. He starts out very small, being able only to create things like pebbles, small cutting knives, etc. This does not come from thin air no, but by manipulating and changing the structure of other objects. The changing objects however cannot be non-living, so he cannot turn a person into a rock. Nothing like that. He can however turn a rock into a knife, or a boulder into a golem. (once his int is high enough) it all depends on the int. And creativity

    Focus: Mathematical Equations
    Profile: This magic allows fast analysis and breakdown of unknown objects into their components. Utilizing Fourier Transforms and other operations, anything can be analyzed. In addition to this, Operationics allows one to modify certain properties, such as surface area, the sine wave produced by an object, etc. The more complex the property modified, the larger a change there is in the object. For example, changing the surface area of a cube would be easier than changing the note produced by a string, but modifying the string's note will create a larger change in the string (affecting thickness, length, and perhaps even composition).
