In order to resolve days more easily, and to prevent my brain from exploding, settler mode includes the Great Chore System (thanks Whim for helping me develop it).
Each day is divided into three thirds: Early, Late and Night.
Each third, you will get four chore points, which you can spend to perform actions. How much the actions costs is completely arbitrary, and will be up to discussion. Certain people might have more Chore Points, some people might have less.
If your skill is high, stuff takes less time! 13-14: 1 less point, 15+ two less points. "Things you are good at" gives +3 to a certain task.
Example: Cutting some trees would cost two pips. Your Strength is 10, and you are really good at lumberjackingness, so it will take only one pip! However, time needed can't go below 1 pip. If an action is performed multiple times, the reduction is applied only once.
Sleeping takes an entire third, and refills all of your FP. Or you could take a nap that takes one Chore point, which gives you back less. If someone is spending a point to entertain others, naps might be more effective. Especially if you get booze.
Optional: You may elect an Expedition Leader. He or she may try and give one of his or her Chore Points to someone else every third. [An IQ/Talking related skill] In return, they have to help me collecting the chores ;_;
