PESTERCHUM 3.41: Updated Pesterchum! New Thread!

Argh!!! I keep trying to open it but every time i try to open it but it just opens a thing that says user account control and then it just doesn't open! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO!?

i have a problem with Pesterchum. i use a Windows Mini computer-thing (i'm not exactly sure what it is, don't ask) and the very first time i installed it, it could open.
Then i shut the lid of my com and it crashed my computer. After that, i've tried time and time again to re-install it, debug it, etc but it won't open anymore. Could anyone help me?
i might be doing the dubugging wrong, but i'm not exactly sure how to do this stuff...
i've really wanted Pesterchum for a while; all my Homestuck friends don't have the same problem.
On another note, is an iPhone app for Pesterchum feasible/already done? if it is, can someone direct me to a place i can get it? i don't care if it's not for free; this stuff needs sponsorship.

There is currently NOT an iPhone app for Pesterchum
As for the problem you're having, try uninstalling it using Revo Uninstaller, as I had a similar problem and when I uninstalled it with that it worked fine. (Revo can be found here: http://www.revouninstaller.com/ and by the way, the little laptops are called netbooks)

Could anyone possibly tell me what the original Port number in pesterchum.js is? I just tried switching ports to get around my school's proxy, but neither seemed to work (though, it kept giving me Error number 10053 "An established connection was aborted by the software in your host machine"). I don't want to have screwed up PC for when I use it at home...

I've had no problem with pesterchum until today. I go to start it and it doesn't start, there's no error messages at all.

I downloaded the Mac version (because I don't have a PC -.-), but it won't work. The download itself went fine, but when I tried to open it, it gave me an error message with the options "Open Console" and "Terminate." Clicking Terminate shuts it down, and Open Console just brings up a window full of gibberish text. Is there a way I can fix this and actually access Pesterchum?

So, I'm using the mac version of Pesterchum. I got it to open up and make me submit my handle. But after that it just says the connection timed out. Is anybody else having the same issue?

Any chance I could get some help on that, too? How did you fix it?
I can still see people popping on and off, but I can't click on them, can't scroll down the list, can't click on the menu tabs.
Please help. I just installed it, like, half an hour ago and already it's broken.

EDIT: I just uninstalled and reinstalled and it fixed nothing.

There is a droid version, but the software required for Apple programming is apparently too much monies for him to do a version.

However, if somebody had the ability and know-how already, I am sure that the PesterDroid guy would be willing to share maybe.

I'm having issues starting Pesterchum. It tells me "F41L3D: Connection closed" after trying to connect. Are there any common reasons this would happen? I'm the only one at my house who knows how to configure the router, so no one set something up that would be blocking me.
