Jump up a little and grab it then!
Jump up a little and grab it then!
Let's have fun with this, don't let me down now.
(Finally changed my freaking avatar.)
Drag the bed over to stand on, then flip the switch.
You were just doing that a few seconds ago! You could not jump high enough.
Also, that was a very bad idea in the first place! What if you had missed and grabbed the metal bit? You could have electrocuted yourself!
You resolve to stop jumping near things that can kill you.
That just might work!
Okay.
This is it.
You HAVE the Bed.
You are totally doing this. Nothing could possibly prevent you from flipping that switch.
Fixed.

Wait, there looks to be something where the bed used to be! Check it out Gordon.

>Investigate other switches
Your head has always been this cylindrical, as has your body.
It's a common shape for a robot.
Oh, you mean this trapdoor here?
Let's get a closer look.
Um.
Sure. You'll do that. In a minute. Once you're done, umm... totally not freaking out. Yes, that's what you're doing.

Well... that's rather ominous.

> Try to open trapdoor.
You manage to get it open just before the inevitable regret overtakes you.
It is dark below. Very dark. What little LIGHT spills over the edge is immediately swallowed up by the blackness of the DESCENT SHAFT. At least, you assume it is a shaft. You don't know because you can't actually see the sides.
You spend some time staring into the hole as you wonder why you opened it to begin with. The depth of that DARKNESS is beginning to upset you.
>Explore other side of lightcone. There's stuff on the wall.
Well... you don't really know the combination for the buttons on the other side of the room. I guess you have no choice but to go down and hope for the best.

That seems like a good idea. You'll do that.
Just as soon as you've closed this thing up.
That's... better. You guess.
You position yourself to take the best advantage of both LIGHT SOURCES in the room and examine the buttons. It appears that there are SIX.
You may not remember a lot about yourself, but you're pretty sure you don't have a death wish.

>Press the top button farthest away from the lightcone.
Oh wait... erm... alright I don't want to rush you. I'm going to change my command then.
Let's see... what to do...
...I got it!
>Look to the ceiling. is there anything that can be made out?

((A part vector whose last component is integer 0-25 seems familiar, but I can't place it. It's not a Gregorian date, time, or angular co-ordinates. Maybe it is not something we are supposed to recognise after all.))
