I don't see why everybody is on my ass about not pronouncing "meme" as "meem"!
Well, I guess it counts that I often mispronounce Pokémon names until I've heard them in the anime.
I really thought, for example, that Audino was said like Ow-thee-no and not Oh-deh-no

I don't read don't. I skip over it the first time I read it, leading to some very bad situations.
I missed the first few days of December because I thought it was still November. :T
My chumhandle is eternallyInvisible. Go ahead and pester me if you want. ^^
I missed an automatic team balance thing on TF2 and thought I was still on the blu team.
I must of looked really stupid....
For a while I was convinced the word "vicinity" was "vincity". That's the only linguistic fail of mine I remember, unless you count being convinced that my name started with a T when I was about three years old. (None of my names have a T.)
And on the subject of obvious things I once thought my birthday was on the 23rd not the 28th and went around all like "It's mah birthday respect me!" until a friend pointed out that that day wasn't my birthday, I was heartbroken...
I pronounce things wrong all the time.
EDIT: Oh, and while watching season 2 episode 1 of MLP: FiM (Read: the new MLP: FiM thread) I found out Discord is an actual word.

| That's a nice thread you got there |
| Shame if something derailed it |
I found there's porn of everything, in not a really good way
Well.... a few months ago I figured out that pancakes were called pancakes because they were cakes made in a pan.
Also about a month ago I realised that 'receive' was not spelt 'recieve'. Oops.
I have probably done something like this many more times than specified.
It took me way too many years to realize that the 3 legendary bird pokemon were Uno, Dos, and Tres.
way too long.
But then again sometimes I just don't realize these things when I grow up with them.
ALSO, realizing that saying "whole nother" is not acceptable. It just rolled off the tongue so well. ;_;

tumbl with me "El-ahrairah, your people cannot rule the world, for I will not have it so. All the world will be your enemy, Prince with a Thousand Enemies, and whenever they catch you, they will kill you. But first they must catch you, digger, listener, runner, prince with the swift warning. Be cunning and full of tricks and your people shall never be destroyed.
I used to say Flutterby instead of Butterfly. (I was really little.)
And I thought the phrase 'gaining on us' was 'skating on us'.
That must have been painful.
For years, I read infatuated as infactuated for some reason. Also, when I was small, I pronounced chaos as "chah-ohs". I guess that's more typical? It certainly looks to be pronounced that way, even if it isn't.
Also something that sort of counts is how much you see "7" in the Harry Potter series. Didn't even notice until quite recently.
In a startling show of originality, I began using the name vocalizedRainbow on PC. Chat with me if you so choose. I'm VocalRaynbow elsewhere.
