Aradia might play Krob

Sollux would play Tinker, Tavros would play Enchantress, Eridan could play Anti-Mage when he isn't Kunkka, Rose would play Enigma and build Necro 3 every single game, Dave might play Lanaya or Mortred, Dirk would play Juggernaut, Jade would play Nature's Prophet. That's all I can be bothered to think of right now.

His stun is terrible and his ult adds less tankiness than Syllabears does. I really don't see him working well anywhere except as a semi-counter to broodmother because if he's laning against one and has sentries up and she doesn't get the hint and play a Brood that doesn't focus on her Q early, he can get a pretty significant gold output going.

The only good thing I can see about Alchemist is that in theory, if he gets to freefarm for absolutely ever and has a full item build of carry items, he's probably in the top 10 at pure DPS. Maybe.

Nyx, Light Keeper and Visage should be on the test server some time today, did anyone say that already?

Visage looks like the most interesting mechanically, I hope Nyx is as close as they can stay to the Anub'Arak model though because Anub'Arak is a BAMF.

Visage just seems... odd. Limited CC, weird damage, hugely micro dependent, and with a weird slow+aspd slow thing.

Keeper is really good but not very fun

Nyx is basically a melee version of lion with cooler stuff

Seeing as they both have the same stun, another form of CC, a mana draining skill, and a high burst damage ultimate... yeah, they do seem very similar.

Visage is bugged so his minions can't be a control group and micromanaging them is literally impossible

Just gonna say that Venomancer is played as a support hero so much that it doesn't seem like people know how scary he can actually be.

Case in point: I just played a game as Kaldr (I'd forgotten how much fun he is) where our Veno got twenty kills.

Veno's a killing support and does very well with a level advantage, but he really does not scale that well with items relative to most real carries that have some kind of steroid or multiplicative scaling.

I mean, I played Pipe Mek Wardbitch Veno and got a dozen or so kills, but by lategame it was our carry (IIRC it was Skeleking) that was stealing the show and bringing the thunder.

Yeah, I'll admit that he's more of an early game hero than anything else, but still.

And another thing: It's kind of disappointing that whenever I'm in Dota at the same time as people on my friends list from here (yes I know it's a mouthful) they're either in a five-stack or they're way above my skill bracket. :c
