BUT the B2 (adult) Rose acted as B2 (child) Roxy's mom. Since the B1 and B2 people are essentially the same people, just in different, almost 'parallel' universes, you can consider Rose (both versions) to be both mother and child of Roxy (both versions) at the same time.

Of course since we now know Roxy is an indeterminate number of years in the future and newRose is dead, this is a bit questionable.

Okay, I'm really confused on trying to wrap my head around the ectobiology in B2. Let me see if I got this right:

Roxy and Dirk are still the ectobiological parents of Dave and Rose and vice versa with Jane and Jake with John and Jade? The ectobiology creation didn't switch as in B2 John, Rose, Dave, and Jade weren't paradox cloned but are still paradox birthed???

In hopefully less confusing words:
Jane and Jake are still technically a mom and dad to B2 John and Jade? Same with Roxy and Dirk?

Pretty much yeah.

(Technically, Jane, Jake, Roxy and Dirk are exact duplicates (or something) of the actual "parents" (Nanna, Hass, Mom, and Bro), so they aren't literally, but genetically there's no difference.)

It is not exactly confirmed, but the most likely option is that the versions of the Pre-Scratch and Post-Scratch came from exact duplicates of the same meteor after John made them. Proof: They all seem to have the same items they received in the previous session with their meteor.

This would indeed mean that Jane and Jake technically still are the parents of John and Jade and that Dirk and Roxy technically still are the parents of Dave and Rose in this session.

We don't know if the doomed-timeline doom mechanics still apply to Scratched players. They're kind of breaking all the rules here. But the B2 timeline is definitely more Alpha.

Yes and no- Roxy is ectobiologically Rose's mother, and this holds true for both the B1 and B2 universes (barring any twist ecto-biology shenanigans).

All of the B2 guardians are dead(at the time that the kids are around). So it wouldn't really make sense for dead people to be the alphas.

The glitch only refers to whether or not LE will be summoned into their universe, it doesn't have anything to do with whether they can win their session. Also, as Rose just explained, the void session isn't doomed because Jade is bringing a new Battlefield.

I don't think that B2 has the glitch because it sounds like the meteor duplication is normal scratch behaviour, making the glitch specifically refer to the trolls originating postScratch, but that's a bit speculatory.

Being born in a previous session is just how the scratch is supposed to work.
I'm pretty sure the glitch refers to the players in the first session being created by the players in the second session (the opposite of how it's supposed to be) This makes them predestined to scratch their session in order to fulfill the timeloop. Lord English entering the universe seems to be part of the deal the players make in order to learn how to perform the scratch or something, so he can "help the new players to perform better than the previous ones did.

No, I'm pretty sure the glitch is the time paradox that results from being created in an universe that doesn't exist.

That the A1 players (who we know as the troll's ancestors) were created post-scratch is said to be the symptom of a glitch, not the glitch itself. Any speculation as to what exactly that glitch is and means is just that, and doesn't belong here.

EDIT: Actually, glitches may be mentioned in a flash or an image or something not in the search pages, but I just checked my flash transcripts and didn't find anything in the dialogue...

It is probably the fact that A1 Skaia shouldn't have had access to the post-Scratch timeline to pull babies from, let alone properly redistributing them across the Scratch.
