Okay, I'm really confused on trying to wrap my head around the ectobiology in B2. Let me see if I got this right:
Roxy and Dirk are still the ectobiological parents of Dave and Rose and vice versa with Jane and Jake with John and Jade? The ectobiology creation didn't switch as in B2 John, Rose, Dave, and Jade weren't paradox cloned but are still paradox birthed???
In hopefully less confusing words:
Jane and Jake are still technically a mom and dad to B2 John and Jade? Same with Roxy and Dirk?
This signature has been hidden because it exceeds 80px in COOLNESS!
It is not exactly confirmed, but the most likely option is that the versions of the Pre-Scratch and Post-Scratch came from exact duplicates of the same meteor after John made them. Proof: They all seem to have the same items they received in the previous session with their meteor.
This would indeed mean that Jane and Jake technically still are the parents of John and Jade and that Dirk and Roxy technically still are the parents of Dave and Rose in this session.

Oh shit. Here I thought the whole discussion was prompted by the update.
I apologize for my comment, Blaperile.
If Alpha Rose has been dead for at least 400 years, where is Roxy getting all the booze from?
By the way, just if you didn't know yet or anyone else who is reading this, there's a link to the RSS feed on the main site, just above the news section. You can see in which hour an update was put up. Unless you knew that already and just didn't pay attention to the timestamps of these posts of course. :B

So, does this whole thing mean that the B1 kids are technically doomed selves? And because of the Scratch, their "real" versions are the B2 guardians?
Roxy and Dirk pretended that Rose and Dave were their parents.
they are not presently alive nor ever played that role for us

Who here knows any good fanfics featuring Fedorafreak?
Don't think this is a simple question, but it may have been asked already, so...
Doesn't B2 have a session glitch, seeing as their players were not made in their session but in B1?
If they do, they already have a void session, so are they double-doomed now?
I don't think that B2 has the glitch because it sounds like the meteor duplication is normal scratch behaviour, making the glitch specifically refer to the trolls originating postScratch, but that's a bit speculatory.
(Or did I overlook someone answering me, hahah woops.)
Referential picture for great justice.
EDIT: Oh hey 777th post, didn't notice you right away. Specularnaodm video (not by me) --v
Can I answer before someone asks?
here is the first post regarding the update where we saw the coffee.
Turns out to be my post hehe
First post that mentions the suspicious looking coffee is on the same page, and plenty of talk on the next page and beyond.
There's also two color charts somewhere in there.
I'm pretty sure the glitch refers to the players in the first session being created by the players in the second session (the opposite of how it's supposed to be) This makes them predestined to scratch their session in order to fulfill the timeloop. Lord English entering the universe seems to be part of the deal the players make in order to learn how to perform the scratch or something, so he can "help the new players to perform better than the previous ones did.
That the A1 players (who we know as the troll's ancestors) were created post-scratch is said to be the symptom of a glitch, not the glitch itself. Any speculation as to what exactly that glitch is and means is just that, and doesn't belong here.
For reference, the only times that glitches are mentioned in-comic are on these two pages:
EDIT: Actually, glitches may be mentioned in a flash or an image or something not in the search pages, but I just checked my flash transcripts and didn't find anything in the dialogue...
It is probably the fact that A1 Skaia shouldn't have had access to the post-Scratch timeline to pull babies from, let alone properly redistributing them across the Scratch.
