I am sorta curious what scenes everybody paints to other songs?

I view Valhalla (Scratched) as the soundtrack to the A1 troll sessions Scratch.

I also view Calamity as an alternate soundtrack to this.

uh... I view Spider8ite as a this weird Alternia history thing, not just a mindfang song.

I have some elaborate ideas about MT&HK songs, but i dont really feel like getting into them.

and thats all i can think of right now.

Oh, and in my mind, Let's all Rock the Heist is an elaborate heist adventure between the trolls and the kids (recently the alpha kids have been included too) where they all commit simultaneous robberies on some banks. It starts off in the morning with John, Karkat and Jane meeting and coming up with the plan and then all of them splitting up to rob the banks in different ways and yeah.

So it's taken me this long to realise that having the art that comes with Vol 8 and cycle through each as my desktop wallpaper is a pretty awesome idea. As a note, Vol 8 is still my favourite of the 8 volumes. Easily.

I love picking out the different themes in things, it adds to the continuity and context of the music (this applies to most soundtracks, not just Homestuck). When you hear certain themes associated with characters or places, plus seeing the art that goes with it, and quite often the titles as well, you can't help associating the tracks to those characters/places/things. Though admittedly I usually listen just for the sake of hearing some good music.

Tangent here, there should be more music about items in Homestuck. Why the Totem Lathe or Shaving Cream haven't got a theme yet I don't know.

I was relistening to Homestuck vol. 1-4 again for the 45th time today, and I was wondering: what Homestuck songs do you wish had become more famous? Songs that you wish had become popular sources for remixes and quotations, like Doctor, Showtime, Harlequin etc. I was thinking about it after listening to Dissension, which is essentially Jade's Strife theme. It's a nice little tune, and it's great that Beatfox brought it back for the Jade: Enter flash, but still, I wish it could have joined Showtime, Aggrieve and Beatdown in terms of popularity.

Ruins already gets quoted in a bunch of stuff, which it should because it's great, but I'm going to hold out hope until the last page of Act 7 is posted that Awakening gets used in a Flash someday. Probably my favorite Homestuck song of all.

Apart from that, yeah, Valhalla is amazing. I love Pumpkin Cravings too; I wouldn't mind if that saw a little more use. (Unless I'm being thick and not recognizing that it's quoting something else itself...)

My oh my this please. Whoever made the original remix of Showtime had his mind in the right place, if not in exactly the right rhythm.

Ooh ooh, and I could go for some more gruff, pounding beats ala Explore (Remix).
Homestuck and any measure of furious breakbeat/drum wrecking would make my day.

In my humble opinion. Though the song seems more strife style, so i am not sure Andrew is inclined to use it in his current vein of flashes.
