P.S. I have seen and slightly conversed with the first three trough the threads. I even Pm'ed the first two, but esrever is a total enigma to me, I only know him due to the tales trough the forum of him banning people from doing monumental quote pyramids, he hates those. But they are all nice.

Since Derse in Homestuck is all about action and aggression while Prospit is more about passivity and protection I speculate that the prospit part of the cult is the one taking care of the followers and managing the churches while the Derse side handles conversions and all the cult's major projects.

You know that monster I have been saving for this? Yeah.

Meet Red Miles. A severed head that is encased in a damage to hit gel like substance. It stays somewhere secluded encased and unmoving but it can attack in long distances with it's arteries. Cellphones give a light disturbance when near the arteries but go haywire near this. If the gel like protection is broken, it will try to escape and make a new one. The "head" is very weak but agile if not encased and move in a crab like manner.

It represents what the hell you want illusion because this is my gift to you.

Also that gel can digest lots of things like metal and flesh so touching it is not advised. BTW, the attacks are real slow because that is the price for range.

If you can't think of symbolism for it. Read this.

Personally, I think it symbolizes all the characters problems in a grotesque slurry.
Aradia's misgivings of staying.( Being stationed in a place it usually detest.)
Tavros's self-confidence issues.( It's default attack being like a half-hearted attempt to tap someone, only lethally.)
Sollux's regret ( The feeling of the guilt slowly coursing up and wrapping and trapping him.)
Karkat's insecurities of his blood.( Red Arteries.....)
Nepeta's forbidden attraction ( It usually tries to attack Karkat, due to this they think it is his monster, not knowing it is all theirs.)
Kanaya's hidden bloodlust.( When it is free, it ususally drinks the blood of corpses when left to its own devices.)
Vriska's Self-absorption( It absorbs everything unto itselfs head, what is there to explain.)
And etc.

It could be for Jade being stuck in one's head. but it's all up to you. You can even scrap this monster. I Don't Care.
