—- INTERMISSION ACT FOUR: SEIGE ON THE EVIL'S CASTLE —-

SWEET ROSE AND HELLA DAVE

Dave's fangirl invasion and whatever Rose and Roxy were doing in finally elaborated here. Roxy, as it turns out, had stolen the tank from Dave's mansion, and used it to blow a hole in the living room of her house. Rose barley manages to avoid getting hit. It turns out that there was a treasure map inside the wall, which Roxy uses to find some treasure chest. She takes Rose along on a mission with her too. To get the key for the chest, the two are mauled by a dog but survive, with the same injuries we see them with later. They make it to the treasure chest, more porn magazine jokes ensue, and they open it to find a green chaos emerald. Roxy then catches sight of Dave floating to them. Also, it's revealed that the Lalondes are black in this comic.

From Dave's perspective, he decides to check something out, so he goes to sleep, makes a dreamself, the dreamself uses abstracted thought to split his conciousness, and he wakes up so that his realself can continue updating his comic while his dreamself can check out what's going on. Finding his computer getting several people pestering him at once, Dream Dave instals Pesterchum in himself and splits into three copies, each of them answering three. After one of them is finished with his conversations, he uses temporal replicsimile to split into a greenself that goes into the past by Sollux and Mituna's hive, and the redself that goes into the future at the inn. Also, it turns out that the former Troll Empress the Condesce was hiding out at Dave's house.

The other two Dream Daves leave his house, one at first fighting with the dark side of his fanbase before agreeing to go to an appology dinner with them at Olive Garder. The other is about to go into the Mario session before finding Rose and Roxy with the dog's scratches on them, questioning as to what the hell happened.

In the wrapup, it turns out that Rose's and Dave's previously hinted at boyfriend/girlfriend were eachother. They share a kiss, and Dave warns Rose and Roxy about the Millennium, before the perspective shifts wildly (mostly around Dave) to see what's going on. Future Dream Dave is training Jade's dream skills; Past Dream Dave has gathered Sollux and together they agree to do a lot of weird background shit in regards to controlling the Mario game and starting up this "SBURB" project. To be honest, this project was originally going to be (as in, before I got to writting IA 4) a mock-up SBURB session which will be the main focus of Act 2, giving SJAHJ from that point more of a "closer to Homestuck" feel, but come on. We already spent too much time on one immersive game already. Dave also mentions conjuring Prospit. The other non-TR-using Dave we see was still over on the dinner, with more of the fans coming in. Finally, far later down the road, Roxy will take Rose over to the Mario session in an attempt to force-feed Dave some of the quest gatorade so that a female counterpart of him will be made for Jade to fall in love with. But this plan actually wasn't really necessary. After all, everyone loves Dave. Everyone. (Or was it "everybody loves Dave?" Eh...)

ASCENT UP THE TOWER

[...] the gang then places the twelve Nepeta ectoclones on a broke-off chunk of the planet that consists of a large rock with a single, simple building on it. Jean, Jude, Joan, Jaka, and Davosesprite all get on as well to ensure the best possible way to deliver the clones. Also, John, FIRE John, Jean, Jake, and Jaka all toss their PDAs into the QS when set to "random" and they are distributed through random points in time and space.

GAME SET AND MACH. YELLOW BEETS BLUE TEEM. BUT BLUE BEET RED. 1ST IS YELLOW, 2ND BLUE (not because they were eliminated next but because they also eliminated a team), 3RD RED. LIKE GOLD SILVER BRONZE, ONLY SILVER IS MORE GRAY THEN BLUE.

I just did some calculations and even if I went back to doing four panels a day (with some days having more) I would still put out more pages for year 1 than Homestuck did for its year 1.

(I took the ammount of pages Homestuck had from "Homestuck" to "[S] Jack: Ascend" (1667), subtracted that with the ammount of pages I had by the end of yesterday to get the number of pages left, 487. (Now it's 481 since I took out six pages.) Then I opened a calendar of a leap year starting on Sunday, and simply counted the days until 1/25. I did not count 1/26 because SJAHJ's first year included a leapday, while Homestuck's did not, so I got 109. Then I ran 487/109 into Google Calculator and got around 4.4.)

Of course, the quality and effort in SJAHJ's pages are much lower. MUCH And I don't even plan on making a second year.

Well I killed off alpha timeline Jade twice (the 4xMiles and this update) and Hussie killed off alpha timeline Jade twice too (Dreamself and Realself for God-tiering). I'm not counting taking out one of her lives to transfer it to her old corpse because... um... it wasn't really a "death" in the traditional sense so much as it was a "negative revival." Those cat trolls put the craziest out of their bunch to hold the title of "jail cell keeper." Fuscia Nepeta is standing right there, in front of your cell. She's been having that expression since you got here, and she's always had her CLAWS out. She uses GOLD CLAWS, while every single other Nepeta uses light blue.
