The antronarch's rage continued, although at a much slower pace.

The mast crashed down, falling off the side of the ship. The Corrupted though were nowhere to be found! Looking off to the side, one would notice that in place of the large, octopus-like corrupted, there is a giant vortex, with corrupted after corrupted just hurling themselves into it. The whole thing begins to spit green fire and lightning. The clouds begin to darken as a symphony of unholy souls wail out in a bizzare chant.

And in the middle of it all...

The Chosen would suffer the most, despite her earnest attempt to contain what appeared to be a large blast in the making. The shield would never hold it; It had no chance to start with. But...
JUST TAKE OVER INSTEAD! QUICKLY!

It snapped in an unholy way, the energy pipeline stopping. The outlines upon it began to change as the shield itself was sucked in, though in a very controlled manner. The energy settled itself into a dark purple haze as a dark form now rose from what used to be a vortex...
