I don't really get 582. It's like Fred but it does things it's told?

Sort of, but not. Fred is an actual sapient being with a will of its own. 582 can't actually act on its own: everything it does is set out by what people write about it. It's basically Slender Man. The problem is, the meme has already set itself, so writing something like "And then Bundle stopped existing" wouldn't do anything.

I've heard of the Fred before, but not the second one. I'd say you did a good job on it and it is clearly based on Slenderman. Fred and the Bundle would have the best parties.

Also, I just got your message involving the shitty-crossover in-joke. I promise not to take it too far and the initial amusement it gave me has worn off for now. If it even comes up again, it probably won't be until, oh, let's say page 43...

Also, what do you think would happen if you combined 582 and 826 together?

Someone is getting moved to a different project and getting their security clearances revoked.

Whatever was written in the Bundle story would happen, which could range from nothing happens to Bundle starts WWI or something worse.

    1) So I can assume that reckless SCP experimentation is a terrible, horrible idea for everyone involved?

    2) That's pretty much the SCP's effect, right?

...Everyone in this thread behave or else we'll write a Bundle Story! /andIfoundanotherunningjoketolatchonto

    3) What the Hell is this?

    4) I'm also liking some of the short stories that I'm stumbling across on the site, actually...

    1) yes. In fact, unless it's a very good article that has a reason for it (The Clockworks, The Desire Camera, etc), cross-testing and cross-referencing are generally very frowned upon.

    3) That is the Plague on Records i.e. The Bad Fanfic Plague. Personally, I think it could use a revamp to make it scarier, but it's entertaining enough.

    4) Check out some of Gears' stuff. It's awesome.

I'll take that as a reading recommendation and trust that Dr. Gears is a competent writer.

Also, I'm thinking of a Light-Gun SCP that allows you to see what happens when you shoot your favourite television characters. I can't remember the number, however...

Also, I found this SCP that seems interesting; 355 or as I like to think of it, 'Read the Damn Sign Next Time.

Competent writer? He's one of the founders. His stuff's the good shit. For example, his latest creepypasta.

...Okay, so the guy is definitely good at what he does (horror stories, in this case) and that sample story was pretty damn unnerving.

    So...yeah...Thanks for that...

I love SCP 826. Especially the fact that "The Sword That Shoots Laser Beams When You Swing It" is tested multiple times.

And don't forget the classic tale of "The Generally Nice, Friendly Thing That Can And Will Kill SCP-682 Permanently if it So Much As Spots That Damn Lizard".

Pity the ending was sort of anticlimactic.

Try again in a week or two and try and flesh out the bio. Just in that you're interested in writing for the site and whatnot.

I don't really see why not. You just need to make a good case for yourself.

Truly, that is the SCP that would make watching television a type of sadistic pleasure.

Directions are here. Making a good case is basically: why you are interested + what you can do for the site.

I think that's why Quirk suggested waiting a week before trying again. The system may need time to reset itself, right?

    Oh man I love SCPs!
I've considered writing a few myself, but I've just never gotten around to it.
Also, now that I've learned about Bundle and been reminded of the Bad Fanfic thing...
Well, the fanfic is uncontained, right? So, if it were to find out about Bundle
    um
    shit would be fucked, yeh?
I mean, that happening would completely shatter the Able Line and keep rising.
We would have mary sue manifest.

...I could be completely wrong though.
