Meant to update in your move earlier GX, sorry.
EDIT: Also in case it wasn't clear all three enemy Armors are currently situated on Columns/Pillars/whatever I called them before. I don't remember if this was the case in the games but they cost Cavalry 3 movement to cross in this game. At some point I will probably edit some sort of terrain list into the third post with bonuses and movement costs.

Spirit's turn hasn't come up in the order because people before him like Askia and snooman haven't had a chance to give orders or wait yet. You're not the only one to place an order that hasn't been followed through yet.

Hmm... looks like I just need a command from Pala in order to finish the turn (and here I was procrastinating anyway). I'll update the map with all the other moves in the meantime.

Shit shit thought I had made a move command already and I was gone for a little while before today anyways so it probably woudn't have mattered.

I obviously hold and say something terrible about the sword knight's mother.

Yes well that can sometimes ha-BURNINATE!

Blue: Attack Axe Knight with Iron Sword

That'll take 'im down to 4, and I'll survive with 1 if he hits me. brb runnin numbers to see if we can take Mr. Swordie out this turn, or if I'mma need some healin. Yeah, we can smoke this dude pretty easily. Alera's got low(ish) accuracy against him, and Riot can't do enough, but either Cline or Spirit, with ranged support, can make the kill. I suggest Cline, since he can do it all in one hit, avoiding the counterattack. Also he's got less exp atm.

Might be better to just run. We've got the area clogged and healing you where you stand'll just put our healer at risk (archer) or one of us at risk (what with the mage).

I think we're better off waging a war of attrition with the knights for now. Not sure if everyone else disagrees.

Me I can still take a hit or two, and I'm particular towards attacking the sword knight.

If the archer does come out to attack Aran, he'll only do 10 damage, not enough for a kill, and we can steamroll him before he gets a chance to retreat. I think it's pretty clear at this point that he intends to sit back behind the Armors and ping anyone who tries to get through.

Yeah, but remember, you probably can't survive a hit from all three attackers, which is what you'll get standing there.

Dias has also made it clear that the enemies are somewhat smart, so there is a decent chance the archer'll come out and kill you if he gets a chance.

Re: Fire Emblem: The Crumbling Courts (Minmaxing Fairness Maybe)

...We're taking out both of the Knights this turn, the Archer/Armor combo isn't moving, and the Mage is out of range. Honestly, I think I'd be safe even without healing for this turn. If I'm wrong, well, I guess I'll just have to be a backseat driver for the rest of this map. Trust me, it's not that big a deal.

True enough, but part of me wants to keep this as close to real FE as possible, which means not dying (since we don't actually die :P).

Also how are we taking both knights out? Or are you counting on us moving forward and not getting smashed by mages and armors?

Re: Fire Emblem: The Crumbling Courts (Minmaxing Fairness Maybe)

    *sigh*

Seras (or Sig; they're pretty much interchangeable for now) moves to T4 and finishes off the Axe Knight. The other moves to R4 and hits the Sword Knight; either Cline or Spirit can then finish off the Knight (with Cline being preferred). If they decide to leave their marks, then yes, the Armors can score a kill. We still have enough firepower to roll over the rest of the map even minus a character. I'm willing to take that risk, and if everybody else is too busy pussyfooting around and hangs me out to dry, I can handle that too. I'm not changing my action either way.

Herpderp Blue can double the axe knight can't he? Yep.

Man this wouldn't have been an arguing issue if I liked doing all the math. Which I don't, so thanks.

I have no real issues, and if push comes to shove we still have that vulnary.

This early in the game hoping people won't hit you is liable to get you killed, especially with a shitty defence. I mean it'll work if we can make sure there's maybe at most one or two other guy who can/will attack you and probably also miss.

Then again it's not like death is permenant, our only punishment is getting left out of sweet, sweet XP for the level.

Also I'll be assed if I'm doing the math to figure out if there actually is a problem because I should be sleeping.
