A young man stands in a skate park. It just so happens that today is his sixteenth birthday.
He does not use pesterchum, as he has never heard of it and in fact does not exist. Nor does the reality-altering game known as Sburb. No, nothing of that sort will ever happen to this young man.
However, something of equal import will.
But for now, he is unaware of any of this; on his mind right now are only two things: the fact that later today is his driver's test, and the fact that his best friend just lost to him again.
