Was ms MSPaint comics always so brutal? Makes for a good plot tough, you could argue its pretty much necessary if a writer wants to keep people on the toes, hammer home that characters can die (seriously tough, I don't really remember half of the things, and I kind of don't have the time to read it all again right now).

Oh, I was gonna say: "Stanley: Hit limit break" But it seems that I was little late.

Instead:

Brad and Bard: Make mental notes that you can always jump into the moat if things get to hot and cool down a bit

Also

Jacket: be something more than just a regular jacket. Else its pretty shitty loot for a mid level boss.

I got some ideas:

Tu quoque: the wounds received are also applied to the enemy.

Healing factor: Speeds up healing

Questionable utility: its self repairing and self cleaning, if a piece is removed the hole is automatically mended.

Rule of cool: lets you do cool stuff, because its cool, not because its realistic. Includes the ability to strike cool poses and make a cool entree.

Just throwing it out there. Maybe its just a totally useless jacket. Anyway, as mentioned its been a little while since I read the comic in entirety, so I might be missing something.

Well hello there.
Anyway, I just have some little points here.
The moat is how many stories away from where they are standing and even if a zombie had survived the fall( I repeat, A ZOMBIE) I am not sure if Brad could survive that too, surface tension and everything. He needs to dive if he wants a higher chance of survival or he would be hit by the water like a concrete floor. Which hurts, bad.

Second, I don't think the jacket has a healing factor, and even if it does, how are we sure that Stanley isn't using a special brand of fire that interrupts it? He is a necromancer, not saying anything against but just posting this as a rule of thumb. We are going for realistic.( Though rule of cool does hijack that. I think the jacket has something else up it's sleeve )

I totally understand that. Like I said, I've been pretty busy myself.
I'm super glad you feel that way though! I really wanted readers to understand just how harsh the game is. And also to understand the human bosses can be just as scared as the kids. And that they're not much different from each other. They may be bosses, but they're very much victims as well. It's kill or be killed.
